Seriously, what are you going on about?

Sherlocks phone went off. He looked at it of course but did nothing else.

Be suspicious

"Lyndsi would like to go out for breakfast this morning?" He asks as he walks into the living room

"You hate going out. And people. Why?" She asks

"Time to catch up I suppose?"

"I don't know. I'm not really a fan of people."

"Alright. Whatever you want." Sherlock says walking downstairs

Lyndsi makes a confused face at his back but says nothing. He hates people. She hates people too but he offered. She decided to leave it alone. She watched him hail a cab and head towards the Scotland Yard.

"He won't be back for a while but I'll text him just to be sure."

Case then?
Yes -SH
When will you be back then?
Probably around dinner -SH
See you then

She looks around already bored. She sees a violin in the corner and practically falls over herself trying to get to it. She starts playing one of her favorite pieces by a woman named Lindsey Stirling called Elements.

After playing for a half-hour she finds herself dancing around the flat. She'd never told anyone but her boyfriend that she absolutely loved to dance. Her boyfriend walks in on her dancing and when she sees him it scares her.

"Holy crap! You scared me to death." She says

"Sorry. You dance really well. I didn't want to stop you."

"Too late." She smiles at him

"Nice place." He says

"Yea. I'm sharing with my friend Sherlock. I'll be getting my own flat soon."

"You could always move in with me." He says

"Not yet. I promise I will as soon as I get everything in order."

"Alright. Also I have a question."

"Go ahead"

"Does this Sherlock fellow go through your phone?"

"I don't think so. That would be breaking the first rule. But then again he might be. He never was good at following rules."

"Alright then I'll refrain from anything I wouldn't want him to see. I just wanted to drop by. I love you and I'll see you later okay?"

"Of course. I love you too. Now shoo before John or Sherlock comes back." She gives him a quick kiss before kicking him out.

She watches him walk down the street before she picked up the violin again and played Master of Tides by Lindsey Stirling. She did love her work.

Sherlocks phone goes off again.

Yankee

He still didn't understand it but he would ask Lyndsi when he got to the flat. He was only a few minutes away. When he did get there the cab stopped early due to traffic. As he was walking the last bit home he saw a man leave 221B. He walks down the street away from Sherlock. Sherlock runs to the flat. What if Lyndsi was hurt?

"Lyndsi?!?" He yells as he runs up the stairs

"Sherlock what's wrong? What happened?" She asks worriedly

"Who was that man?" He asks

"Oh uh. He's a friend." Lyndsi says

"What's his name?"

"It doesn't matter Sherlock, quit being so nosey." She gives the violin to Sherlock and walks to the bedroom, locking it behind her.

Oscar

She sighs as she reads the latest text. She doesn't know what it means.

What does it mean?

Uniform

Lyndsi face palmes. She finally got it.

India
Lima
Oscar
Victor
Echo
Yankee
Oscar
Uniform

You couldn't have just said that?

Sherlock could be listening

He wouldn't do that. He trusts me. And I trust him. If he were I wouldn't be able to trust him the same.

Tell him that.

Not unless it's relevant.

It is now. Go ask him.

Fine.

Lyndsi gets off the bed and walks out to see Sherlock on his phone. The only downside to the linking besides trust issues is that the 3rd wheel gets the text late.

"Sherlock Holmes have you been reading my texts?" She asks

"No." He says

"Sherlock Holmes look me in the eye and tell me you haven't been reading my texts."

He refuses to look at her

"William!" She says

"I just wanted you to be safe" he says quietly

"William do you really think I'd endanger myself. Have a little faith! I trusted you!" She shouts

"I trust you" he says

"No William. You don't. If you did you wouldn't have gone through my damn phone. I'm leaving. Don't bother following me." She almost gets to the door before she turns around back to face him

"Give me your phone." She says quietly

He hands it to her reluctantly and she leaves the flat. What she doesn't let him see is her crying. She is upset because Sherlock didn't trust her. And now she couldn't trust him. Trust was a hard thing for her to come by because of her parents. She went to her boyfriends.

I'm coming over. I might stay.

What happened?

Sherlock was going through my phone.

I'm sorry love. I can't wait to see you.

Lyndsi smiled at her phone and continued down the street. After she cooled down enough she hailed a cab.

John had heard the yelling from his room but he didn't think it would turn the way it did. He came down a few minutes after Lyndsi left.

"What was that all about?" He asks

"I broke rule number 1."

"Which is?"

"Don't piss her off."

"What did you do?"

"I was reading her texts."

"Why couldn't you just leave it?" John asks more to himself

°°°

Lyndsi saw her boyfriend waiting for her just like he said. He was good at keeping his word.

"I feel like me life is falling apart." She says

"Don't worry pretty girl you can fly"
