Moriarty felt bad for his girlfriend. She'd lost one of her only friends because he was nosey.

"Listen Love, it's okay. You have me now." He smiles at her

"You're sweet but it's hard to lose one of your only friends."

"I know Love. I do. How about we go for ice cream to take your mind off things?"

"Alright. Yea, I could go for a little distraction." She smiles back

"Come on then. I know this terrific little place that also has mini golf."

"You sure enjoy the little things for a criminal mastermind."

"I'm only human."

°°°

"But do you know the worst part John?" Sherlock says as he enters the room

"What?"

"She's probably having a great time with him. Forget about me. I don't matter anymore."

"You have no idea."

"What do you mean?" Sherlock turns around to face him

"It's not that easy Sherlock. She'll be thinking about you for weeks until she can get over this."

"Do you think she'll ever forgive me?"

"I don't know."

°°°

"Thanks J. I had fun." She kisses him

"No problem Love. Anything for you. He'll, I'd even sing and dance."

"Would you really?" Lyndsi asks smiling evilly

"Hey now don't go getting any ideas" Jim says worriedly

"Okay, how about I play the violin and you can sit on the couch and watch me dance."

"Really? You'd put on a show just for me?" Be looks at her as seriously as he can

"Of course my Sweet. Anything for you."

Lyndsi runs to get her violin from her music studio and returns to the living room. Jim sits on the couch and watches. Just to warm up Lyndsi starts playing Shadows by her favorite inspiration: Lindsey Stirling.

After about a minute she's so into her music she's dancing around the room.

°°°

Sherlock gets a text from Mycroft about a case.

"Minus well. I've nothing else to do."

Lyndsi chose the worst possible time to forgive Sherlock Holmes. She stopped halfway up the stairs when she hears her name.

"What about Lyndsi? She isn't going to forgive me any time soon. She isn't even the same person! She's a liar, and anything but a friend at this point" it was Sherlock

Lyndsi silently walks up the rest of the stairs. John had no doubt said 'what about Lyndsi?' And Sherlock, trying to impress a woman, was talking shit about her. She didn't know the woman but it was obvious she had a thing for him.

"Hardly a friend let alone anything more. She's a liar and a thief and-" he stops when he sees her in the doorway

"No please, do continue. It was just getting good." Lyndsi says

"Lyn i-"

"I only came to forgive you."

"Lyndsi please-"

"I hate you Sherlock Holmes. I wish we'd never met." Lyndsi cries and turns down the stairs she's out the door and on the street when Sherlock grabs her shoulder

She turns and punches him straight in the jaw.

"I never want to see you again. Don't call me, don't text, leave me alone. I hate you" she spins around and runs off down the street

Sherlock holds his face where she'd hit him. He'd really screwed up. John ran out after him when he watched Lyndsi hit him.

"I don't think you're as smart as you thought you were." John says

Sherlock glares at him

°°°

Lyndsi walked in the front door sobbing. She went straight to the bedroom and buried her face in the pillows.

"What's wrong Love?" Jim asks worriedly

Lyndsi can't stop crying long enough to tell him. He sits on the bed next to her and strokes her hair. She calms down a bit in a few minutes.

"Love?" He asks again

"Sherlock was trash talking me to impress a girl. I was going to forgive him. I was going to forgive him. I hate him"

"I'm here for you Love. And I will never ever do anything to hurt you. I love you. You know that right?" He says

"Yes. I love you too. I hate him J. I hate him. He'll never see the old me again."
