Chapter 4

Adriana walked around the New york streets. "There's nothin' rich folks love more than going downtown and slummin' it with the poor", Adriana said walking up to a carriage, to introduce them to you. "They pull up in their carriages and gawk at the students in the commons just to watch them talk!" The carriage parked "Take Phillipa Schuyler, the girl is loaded! Uh Oh! But little does she know that her sons, Mar, Andrew and Elijah have snuck into the city to watch all the guys at-"

"Work work!", someone yelled in the street.

"Andrew", A boy wearing a peachy pink jumped out of the carriage.

"Work work!", someone else yelled.

"Elijah!", A boy wearing blue jumped out and stood next to his brother.

"And Mar!", a boy dressed in yellow ran out.

"Andrew", "Mar", "Elijah"

"Work!", someone else yelled out.

"Mama said to be home by sundown.", Mar said. 

"Mama doesn't need to know", Andrew said looking around.

"Mama said not to go downtown!", Mar complained.

"Like I said 'You're free to go!'", Elijah said. 

"But, look around, look around the revolutions happening in New York!", Andrew yelled almost. 

"New York...", Mar and Elijah said in unison right after their older brother. 

"It's bad enough Mama wants to go to war", Mar said with a little worry. 

"People shouting in the square...", Elijah said hugging Mar from the side. 

"It's bad enough there'll be violence on our shore..", Mar said hugging Elijah back.

"New ideas in the air", Andrew said loudly.

"Andrew remind me what were looking for", Elijah said. 

"Elijah, I'm looking for a mind at work", Andrew said simply.

Adriana walked to them and smiled. "There's nothing like summer in the city. Someone in a rush next to someone looking handsome", Adriana smirked. "Excuse me, sir, I know it's not funny but your cologne smells like your mothers got money. Why you slummin' in the city in your fancy shoes, you searchin' for an urchin who can give you ideals?", Adriana teased.

"Burr, you disgust me", Andrew said.

"Ah, so you've discussed me! I'm a trust fund, baby, you can trust me!", Adriana said and nudged Andrew in the stomach. 

"I've been reading Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Some girls say that I'm intense or I'm insane! You want a revolution? I want a revelation! So listen to MY declaration!", Andrew said while getting into a formation with his brothers. 

"We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal!", The boys did a cool choreographed moved and their arms ended up into a equals sign. 

"And when I meet Josie Jefferson, I'ma compel her to include men* in the sequel!", Andrew said.

"Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now!", Andrew said starting to dance. 

"Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now!", Andrew and Mar said in unison both starting to dance. 

"History is happen' in Manhattan and we just happen to be in the greatest city in the world!", All the brothers said dancing. 

~All the words in parentheses are Elijah and Mar~

"Cuz I've been reading Common sense by Thomas Paine (Look around, Look around), Some girls say that I'm intense or I'm insane (The revolutions happening in New york), You want a revolution, I want a revelation (New York), So listen to my declaration!", Andrew took the lead on the talking.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal!", all brothers yelled, "Look around look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now! History is happening in Manhattan and we just happen to be in the greatest city in the world!"

"Work work", the same person that yelled before yelled again.

"Andrew!", Andrew said in reply

"Work Work", Another person yelled

"Elijah!", Elijah replied.

"And Mar!", Mar yelled pushing the two other brothers out of the way. 

"The Schuyler brothers! We're looking for a mind at work!", All the brothers said then walked away with people staring at them.

A few minutes after the brothers left Alexandra, Lafayette, Jona and Helen showed up.
