Alexandra walked into her house and looked at her stomach. She didn't tell anyone but Jona about the young one that was in development. Though she was getting thicker.

Elijah walked in slowly and noticed his wife was having a child, but also noticed Alexandra was sent home, but not because of the child.

"Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now. Look around!",Elijah said, hugging his wife, "How long have you known?"

"A month or so....", Alexandra trailed off. She was thinking of the events of the duel and how she was promising she wouldn't be like her parents, get up and leave or get too sick and die.

"Alexandra you should have told me!"

"I haven't told anyone", She said, pouting almost at her husband.

"But I wrote to the general a month ago!", Elijah almost yelled, "Begging to send you home."

"No!", Alexandra looked up at Elijah, with tears forming, "I should have told you."

"Don't be sorry.", Elijah started to wipe away her tears, "We all know you'd fight until the war was won"

"The war isn't done!"

"But you do deserve to meet your...?"

"Daughter."

"Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now.", Elijah brought Alexandra to a seat and sat down next to her.

"Will you relish being a poor girl's husband? Unable to provide for your life?"

"I relish being your husband, look around, look around...", Elijah got up and grabbed a beautiful picture of the two at The Winters Ball, 1780.

"Look at where you are. Look at where you started.", Elijah gestured towards the picture. "The fact that you're alive is a miracle! Just stay alive, that would be enough", Elijah smiled while grabbing the picture. Tears were forming in Alexandra's eyes.

"And if this child, shares a fraction of your smile, or a fragment of your mind, look out world! That would be enough", Elijah playfully smiled and pointed to her brain, then grabbed her hand. "I don't pretend to know, the challenges you're facing. The worlds you keep erasing and creating in your mind! But I'm not afraid, I know who I married. So long as you come home at the end of the day. That would be enough"

"We don't need a legacy, we don't need money.", Elijah squeezed her hand and smiled slyly.

"If I could grant you peace of mind. If you could let me inside your heart..."

Elijah grabbed both of Alexandra's hands and made her turn to face him. "Oh, let me be a part of the narrative! In the story, they will write someday! Let this moment be the first chapter: Where you decide to stay! And I could be enough, and we could be enough. That would be enough"

Alexandra stared into the deep brown eyes of Elijah, starting to become helpless as she nodded, to almost say 'Yes, you can be a part of the story'

Elijah smiled and put Alexandra on his lap and kissed her/

"You've got me, Helpless Elijah"

WHOO THE CHAPTER (minus this) WAS EXACTLY 500 WORDS! It's midnight where I am and I'm tired. I've decided that every 100 views I get, I'll update when I get the chance.

But also, how was this chapter? It was hard to do actually. I just now have to figure out Yorktown because heh, I don't know what to do about Burr and Hamilton having children during the battles. If you have any idea's for any song please comment them!

Also, I have a perfect idea for the ending, which I gotta hope I'll remember. But I'm going to be adding in 'Laurens Interlude' 'Let It go (No. Not Disney. There is a Hamilton workshop song called the same thing)' and  'Congratulations'

Back to normal note besies little sneak peeks.

I was typing this chapter and looked at my Instagram feed. I sent a letter to the cast a few weeks ago ad sent it.

Carleigh (Eliza's Understudy and ensemble) commented on my post of her and Lin and said "Got your letter! Thank you so much for sending!!!"

I'm dead.

Just, dead.

This means Lin, Phillipa, Renee, Anthony, Jasmine, Leslie, and Andrew got my letter.

Everyone.

Got.

My.

Letter.

Okay, Im going to sleep now. Night!

Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
