Chapter 7

32,000 troops were in New York harbor. They surrounded the American troops. Alexandra looked at the ships in awe.

"As a kid in the Carribean, I wish for a war. I knew that I was poor. I knew it was the only way to", Alexandra said as Adriana, Helen, Lafayette and Jona finished the sentance with Alexandra. "Rise up.", all five said.  

"If they tell my story, am I either die on the battle field of glory or" 

"Rise up."

"I will fight for this land but there's only one man who can give us a command so we can"

"Rise up!"

"Understand it's the only way to"

"Rise up! Rise up!"

"Here comes the general!", Alexandra said proudly, pulling her blue coat tighter on her body and putting her hand up to salute. After Alexandra saluted, everyone else did. 

Georgia Washington, the war general for the Revolution stood in front of all the soldiers. 

"We are outgunned!", Georgia said loudly.

"What?", the soldiers replied, confused.

 "Outmanned."

"What?", the soldiers replied really confused. Alexandra understood, though.

"Outnumbers outplanned! We gotta make an all out stand! Heyo I'm gonna need a right-hand girl!", Georgia said proudly. 

Everyone started to murmur because they wanted to be the right-hand man.

"Check it! Can I be real a second? For just a millisecond?  Let my guard down and tell the people how I feel a second?", Georgia said calmly and everyone nodded.

"Now I'm the model of a modern major-general, the venerated Virginian veteran whose men are all lining up, to put me up on a pedestal, writin' letters to relatives, embellishin' my elegance and eloquence! But the elephant is in the room, the truth is in ya face when ya hear the British cannons go", Georgia stopped for all the women and men to finish the sentence. 

"BOOM!", everyone yelled. Alexandra watched in awe.

"Any hope of success is fleeting! How can I keep leading when the people I'm leading keep retreating? We put a stop to the bleeding as the British take Brooklyn knight takes rook, but look! We are outgunned!", Georgia yelled.

"What?", Everyone said, starting to make it a rhythm.

"Outmanned!", Georgia yelled louder.

"What?"

"Outnumber outplanned! We gotta make an all out stand! Heyo I'm gonna need a right-hand girl!", Georgia said. 

Georgia looked u and saw a cannon ball flying towards everyone, "INCOMING!", Georgia screamed and squatted down covering her head. 

After the ball hit, Alexandra looked around. 

"They're battering down the Battery check the damages, We gotta stop 'em and rob 'em of their advantages!", Alexandra said to her friends. 

"Let's take a stand with the stamina God has granted us! Hamilton won't abandon ship...Yo, let's steal their cannons", Alexandra said smirking.  

"Goes the cannon, watch the blood and the shit spray and Boom Goes the cannon, we're abandonin' Kips Bay and Boom! There's another ship and Boom We just lost the southern tip and Boom We gotta run to Harlem quick, we can't afford another slip!", Georgia said every time she said and, a canon went off.
