Alexandra was on war grounds and in the back of her mind she heard Elijah saying "Stay alive" and her new brother-in-law's joining in with Elijah.

Alexandra watched Georgia walk back and fourth.

"I have never seen the General so despondent. I have taken over writing all her correspondence. Congress writes, "Georgia, attack the British forces." I shoot back, we have resorted to eating our horses. Local merchants deny us equipment, assistance. They only take British money, so sing a song of sixpence"

"The calvary's not coming.", Georgia said and looked at Alexandra from her horse.  "Mrs!"

"Alex, listen. There's only one way for us to win this! Provoke outrage, outright.", Georgia said and got off her horse. "That's right.", Alexandra nodded. "Don't engage, strike by night. Remain relentless 'til their troops take flight"

"Make it impossible to justify the cost of the fight", Alexandra repeated.

"Uh huh, outrun"

"Outrun," Alexandra echoed.

"Outlast"

"Outlast."

"Hit 'em quick, get out fast"

"Chick-a-plao!"

Georgia smiled a little but went back to serious. "Stay alive 'til this horror show is past. We're gonna fly a lot of flags half-mast"

"Raise a glass", Jona, Helen, and Lafayette said raising a glass before heading back to their stations.

"I go back to New York and my apprenticeship", Helen wrote down and handed a paper to Lafayette and walked away back to New York. "I ask for French aid, I pray that France has sent a ship", Lafayette wrote on the paper and went to the harbor. "I stay at work with Hamilton. We write essays against slavery and every day's a test of our camaraderie and bravery", Jona wrote and handed it to Alexandra and watched her every move.

"We cut supply lines, we steal contraband. We pick and choose our battles and places to take a stand! And ev'ry day, 'Mrs, entrust me with a command,' And ev'ry day she says 'No.' She dismisses me out of hand." Alexandra stopped for a moment hearing Elijah and Andrew in her head saying "Stay Alive...." but she ignored it and started writing again. "Instead of me, she promotes Charlotte Lee, makes her second in command."

Alexandra looked up and saw Charlotte running around. "I'M A GENERAL! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Alexandra shook her head and looked at Jona. "Yeah, she's not the choice I would have gone with."

"She shits the bed at the Battle of Monmouth", Jona and Alexandra agreed in unison and looked at Georgia and Charlotte.

"Everyone attack!", Georgia yelled.

"RETREAT!", Charlotte said mockingly.

"Attack!"

"RETREAT!"

"What are you doing Lee, get back on your feet!"

"But there's so many of them!"

Georgia sighed and Alexandra watched. "I'm sorry, is this not your speed?! Hamilton!"

"Ready Mrs!", Alexandra saluted.

"Have Lafayette take the lead!"

"Yes, Mrs!"

Jona took a new piece f paper and started writing. "A thousand soldiers die in a hundred degree heat", and passed the paper to Lafayette.  "As we snatch a stalemate from the jaws of defeat", Lafayette jotted and handed it to Alexandra. "Charlotte Lee was left behind without a pot to piss in. She started sayin' this to anybody who would listen:"

"Washington cannot be left alone to his devices! Indecisive, from crisis to crisis! The best thing she can do for the revolution is turn n' go back to plantin' tobacco in Mount Vernon!", Charlotte yelled to soldiers.

"Don't do a thing! History will prove her wrong.", Georgia yelled at Alexandra, with Jona nearby.

"But Mrs!", Hamilton said trying to defend herself.

"We have a war to fight, let's move along", Georgia grabbed her things. She got on her horse and rode back to her office.

"Strong words from Lee, someone oughta hold her to it", Jona said grabbing Alexandra's hand and shoulder.

"I can't disobey direct orders", Alexandra looked down and shook off Jona's hand.

"Then I'll do it.", Jona bravely looked at Alexandra who looked surprised. "Alexandra, you're the closest friend I've got"

"Laurens", Alexandra said sternly and looked her friend in the face, "Do not throw away your shot!"
