"Kaneki!" You called for him as you saw him walking through the large hallway, alone.

He glanced in your direction and you saw him frown before hurriedly walking away from you.

You didn't dare follow him. You stood there, eyebrows scrunched down and lips formed into a thin line.

That was enough to ruin your day.

You're not that stupid to not realize the fact that he was avoiding you. He's been doing so for the past few days, ever since he walked out on you.

He never went back to the Music Room, also. You were left there waiting for hours, hoping that he'd arrive and let you explain.

But he was stubborn, he didn't come. The next day was the same and it repeated again and again.

Until today. You were most determined to gain his attention back and let you explain yourself.

Firstly, you didn't mean to offend him with his words. Your statement was meant to be romantic! He just didn't let you finish.

You breathed heavily before running up to him, ending up you chasing an emotional man across the hallway. You earned a few stares which you just shrugged off, determined to finally talk to Kaneki.

Finally, you catch up with him and you thanked the Gods when you finally, finally got a chance to grab his arm and yelled at him.

"Why are you avoiding me?!" You shouted in which he just widened his eyes at.

"I, uh.. I h-have to.. g-go.." He stuttered.

"Kaneki!"
"I-I'm l-late to m-my class.."
"Kaneki!"
"I h-have to t-talk to y-you l-later--"

"I like you!" You confessed out of nowhere. His eyes went wider and his face turned red.

He stood there frozen.

"You like me?" He asked, eyes still wide. You sighed in frustration and embarassment. You just confessed to the guy you like. Great.

"Y-Yes," it was your turn to stutter. "That day, w-when you suddenly walked out on me, I-I was supposed to c-confess to you. B-But you took my words the wrong way."

He stayed still, the words still processing in his mind. "You like me?"

"I know it sounds crazy but the very first time I heard you playing the piano, I already fell in love. Not only with the music b-but with you."

"But you rejected me. You said I was annoying." He blinked, his mouth still agaped.

"I did not! You were acting so stupid so you misunderstood my words."

He did not respond and instead, he just stared at you. Silence started to fill the air and you were slowly growing impatient.

That is until he spoke in a low volume. His gaze suddenly fixed on the floor.

"I like you too [Name]-chan," he confessed, "so much."
