So my favorite anime of all time is Hunter X Hunter.

I don't talk about it much, but I absolutely ADORED it and much of my art style and what I write is heavily inspired by the show. Even though I say that Killua is my favorite, when it really comes down to it, I love each and every one of these characters for different reasons. This includes all the villains and even some of the background characters because of how well written they are. I just love how much detail and care is put into some of the less relevant characters and hope to achieve that kind of development in my own stories.
And even though the animation isn't the prettiest or the most intricate, it does its job and it does it hella well. (And, like I said, the art style had major influence on my own)

But I digress xD
What I really wanted to talk about was the fact that it got an English dub and I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT IT UNTIL LAST NIGHT
Having watched all 148 episodes in Japanese, these voices are a bit difficult to get used to. So far, I'm really liking Leorio and Kurapika's voices. Killua's voice is kind of iffy, but I can see it growing on me. (Which I hope it does bc my bby needs some proper love). I think the one that is hardest for me to get used to is Gon's. I still don't know if I like it or not, but we'll just have to wait and see to be completely honest.
Now that summer is literally a week and a half away for me, I will definitely be staying up every Saturday to catch the episodes on Toonami x3 This is such a great series and fir the longest time I was only dreaming of it getting an English dub, and now it finally has one! It definitely deserves this treatment, and I can't wait to see its popularity skyrocket as a result.
Let's just hope that they don't mange to screw it up xD

Anyway, I hope that some of you who have never seen it before will give it a try, because it honestly is one of the most well-done series I've ever watched. Let me know if you're also a fan who is using this opportunity to re-watch the series xD we can re-live it together!
