Anime Challenge

Okay haha so like I don't think anyone reads these anymore but idc so leggooo

I was talking to someone earlier about doing one of those 30 day challenges on wattpad all in one go for my bored book, so I figured I would give it a go seeing as I am - unsurprisingly - VERY bored.

I'm just going to hold I can answer every one of these because to be frank I haven't been watching anime as long as a lot of other people who have been dedicated since they were like, six years old XD but I'll give it my best shot.

So without further ado (what does ado mean, anyway?) let's get started!

1. Oh god, this brings me back. Well, like a lot of anime fans, I watched Pokemon when I was younger. I wasn't really "into" anime, however, until years later when I had truly turned into an Internet kid. I was (and still am obviously) a frequent user of fan oriented sites and blogs and kept hearing about all these great anime that fans of American cartoons I liked also enjoyed. Before then I regarded anime as some weird, pervy stuff from Japan, but I decided to give it a go when I kept hearing about this show that sounded interesting called Fairy Tail. Low and behold it became the start of one of my biggest hobbies and now has a huge place in my heart (despite not being past episode 112 or something like that because I'm lazy XD).

Okay I'm sorry that was unnecessarily long. I'll try to be more straightforward from now on XD

2. Oh god XD well I have an infinite number of OTPs so I'm going to go strictly with couples that are CANON. In that sense, I would have to say either Kagome and Inuyasha, Ed Elric and Winry, or Renton and Eureka.

3. Mmmmmm right now I'm really digging Noragami Aragoto's opening so yeah XD but an all-time favorite is definitely Soul Eater's first opening (the second is also beautiful but the first is just...-*screams*)

4. If I could have Gon Freecs as my best friend I would literally be the happiest person in he entire world.

5. Okay, well...only because it receives a lot of hate, I'm going to have to say Sword Art Online. Many people hate it and think it's a terrible show with a cruddy plot and even cruddier characters, but I actually really liked it. So go ahead and punch me or whatever but Asuna is still a badass in my eyes x3 (I was *this* close to making a Boku no Pico joke on this one, but I refrained. You're welcome XD)

6. If I had the body for it I would totally cosplay  Yuko Littner but HAAAAAA I'm not confident enough for that x3 besides my parents would probably kill me if I tried to...so I'll go with Eureka from Eureka Seven (anyone wanna be my Renton? x3) or Rinne Rokudo bc that little redhead is precious

7. Kageyama ftw (he'd probably just yell at me the whole time tho xD)

8. A Rumiko Takahashi crossover would be really cool. I've seen a lot of fanart of all her characters all in one place, and I just think it would be so fun x3

9. Gray Fullbuster (heh...and now you know the truth behind my name)

10. Definitely the Fullmetal Alchemist series. I literally cannot put into words how much it affected me and the way I see the world <3

11. •////• oh uh *cough* I might just be a huge yaoi fan but it's okay you don't need to run away! Eheheh... (Honestly tho what girl isn't)

12. Mmmm well Soul Eater had a really fun soundtrack so I'll go with that

13. (If we're going with English) Either Todd Haberkorn or Johnny Yong Bosh. Japanese wise, I would say Kamiya Hiroshi (which is total foreshadowing of a later answer xD)

14. I really, REALLY hated Near in Death Note. Like, he pissed me off so freaking much. It might have been because I was upset that *spoiler alert* L died and if anyone should have defeated Light, it should have been him. But I just think that Near was an annoying smart ass little kid that needed to get off his high horse.

15. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SCENE TO ANSWER WITH BECAUSE I LITERALLY HAD TO STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER I WAS WATCHING IT ON AND THINK ABOUT LIFE FOR A MOMENT BECAUSE HOLY JESUS CHRIST I AM STILL EMOTIONALLY SCREWED UP FROM IT

*cough* It was towards the end of Hunter X Hunter's chimera ant arch...and I'm pretty sure upon saying that you know exactly what I'm talking about, with Gon...but just in case I've linked a video of it up in the media ^^^

But I mean really...holy crud...WAT

16. Dammit...I already answered this, lol. So I guess I'll just flip the questions and tell you NOW what my OTP is. I really, REALLY ship Rinne and Sakura from Rinne as well as Kid and Soul from Soul Eater x3 (*cough* s/o to my SoKi fanfic that I need to update *cough*)

17. Okay what the hell why was the first couple question even asked? I give XD

18. Soul Eater's first ending, I Wanna Be, because when it was brought back for the last episode it only made me cry even harder <3 it's one of those songs that I can totally sing despite it being entirely in Japanese

19. Hunter X Hunter fo' sure

20. Taiga Aisaka ftw (again xD)

21. Idk I mean I haven't seen many harem/reverse harem anime so I'm gonna go with Ouran High School Host Club because who doesn't love that anime?

22. Some anime actually have fantastic dubs, but for the most part I'm a fan of subs.

23. My family thought it was so weird and creepy when we all watched it together but I freaking loved Spirited Away <3 it was fantastic

24. *le sigh* There weren't very many anime fans at my grammar school, and so I got made fun of a lot for it. Anytime anything remotely Japanese related was mentioned they'd all give me this look and start laughing, or if it came up in conversation they would try to get me to nerd out about it and then proceed to make fun of me. I wasn't all that well liked in grammar school in general, so having one more thing to hang over my head just made it worse...

25. I'm literally so much like Haruhi Fujioka it's not even funny. Not only do I look like her, but I have a very similar sarcastic yet caring personality. I would also consider myself fairly smart, and she is the most studious character in the entire show. So yeah. Go team Fujioka haha

26. Um, can I say the ENTIRE last episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? I was ecstatic that the last episode was entirely dedicated to closure, because I feel that that is something a lot of otherwise fantastic anime lack is good closure.

27. Hm...well, like I said, I haven't been watching for THAT long so most of what I've seen is pretty mainstream, but Kyōkai no Rinne was really good so I definitely recommend it. It's also getting a second season this spring so YAAAAY

28. Yeah, I kind of got all the grammar school friend I did have into anime because they are just as nerdy as I am. One in particular got really into it and is just as much a fan now as I am so :P (but Black Butler fans beware: she literally has a cereal box with Sebastian's face on it so don't get in her way lol)

29. For the longest time, my answer to this question would be Death the Kid, but now I work say that my all time favorite is definitely the god Yato. His personality is just fantastic, even though he might be lazy at times. I just love him as a character so much <3

30. FINALLY, dang XD

Well, I would say there are multiple answers to this, and they are: Fairy Tail, Kyōkai no Rinne, Fullmetal Alchemist, Assassination Classroom, and Noragami

And that concludes it! That took way longer than I was expecting, I'll tell you that much *sweatdrops* If you stuck around this long, you must really like me xP

See ya later, guys!

Keep it cool,
Stay in school.
Flower power,
~Fi
