Saving Me From Myself and Love (Complete)

Chapter 7

      A/N:  Hi everyone!  I'm so terribly sorry for the wait.  This week has been so hectic that I haven't had time to write.  Please don't hate me!  I tried to make this one a little longer so I hope you like it!  Also, if you want to know what they look like, check out the other chapter's again.  I have pictures for each of the characters(:

“Shawn, baby!”  Iz screamed as she hugged him close.  I looked over to them awkwardly then decided to introduce myself to the mysterious guy.

                “Hi, I’m Lily.”  I said holding out my hand for him to shake.

                “Luke, it’s nice to meet you.”  He said in a deep voice. 

                “This is a buddy of mine from school.  I thought, since Lily here doesn’t talk much to anybody, I would bring him along.”  Shawn said with a warm smile.

                “Awe, babe.  That’s sweet.”  Iz reached up and planted a kiss on Shawn’s cheek. 

                “Come on, girls.  Let’s get this party going.”  Shawn said leading the way with Luke.

                Iz walked close beside me and whispered, “Isn’t he dreamy?”

                I chuckled and looked him over.  He had dark brown hair, his eyes were a beautiful blue color, and freckles were peppered over his nose.  He was a gorgeous guy, I thought.

                “He is pretty adorable.”  I said gawkily.

                Iz chuckled beside me.  “I wouldn’t let him catch you saying that.”  We walked up to the bouncer and held out our I.D.’s.  The bouncer was tall, and very muscular, his eyes looked both Iz and I up and down before smiling and ushering us in.

                As we got closer, the beat to the music thumped through my body, and the music itself got increasingly louder.  I looked over the dancing people and marveled in the way their bodies moved to the sound.  I always loved to watch how people danced, it amazes me what kind of moves they do and pull off.

                “I will get the first round of drinks.”  Shawn said as we found a little spot in the corner to sit and chat.

                “C’mon, let’s dance.”  Iz said pulling me up with her.

                I followed her to the dance floor and began to move in front of her.  The sound of the music guiding my motions, I soon got lost in the song.  As I was dancing, I felt two arms wrap around me.  I jumped and turned around as fast as I could to see Luke with a big smile on his face. 

                “You scared me.”  I said trying to slow my heart beats.

                “I didn’t mean to, I just wanted to dance with you.”  He said pulling me closer to him.  I got comfortable because we weren’t too close, and began to dance with him.  He put his hands on my waist and spun me around.

                “Hey, guys.  We have drinks.”  Iz said teasingly.  I laughed and grabbed her hand as she led the way.

                I sat down on the chair and took my drink in my hand.  “What is this?”  I asked looking at my pink drink.

                “It’s a Pink Pantie Pulldown.”   Shawn said holding up his brown drink.

                I chuckled and downed it.  “This is delicious.”  I said wishing another one was in front of me.  “I think I’m going to get another one.”  I said getting up.
