The Cursed Water. Chapter 8

You had gone out, dressed in the plant clothes you made and doing laundry duty...
the crew had yet to find you and Percy...

You were just washing the clothes and giggled at Percy's little gloves that he had taken off...
He hadn't let you see his body... you didn't know why but you were honestly relieved...
Men sort of scared you...
anatomy wise...

You decided to mess around with Percy's clothes as you put them on,
They were heavy and a bit oversized but you managed to put them on and looked at your reflection in the water.
"Would'ja look at me! I be Percy th Pirate!" You giggle as you tried to copy his accent.
You laughed and smiled, this was fun!

"Pfft!" You heard someone from behind a rock make a noise as you got pinched by a crab for ticking it off when you goofed around.

"Hmm? Hey!!" You yelled and Percy laughed as he walked out from behind the rock.

"Ye be th cutest pirate I ever did see!" He laughed as you pouted and wagged an oversized jacket sleeve at him.
"How long were you hiding over there?!" You questioned.
"Long enough to see ya in me clothes darlin..." He shrugged, Percy acted so different with you... but then again... he had explained that he felt braver with you.

Percy walked up to you and smiled, hugging you and then picking you up.
"P...Percy! Put me down!!" You whined while he laughed and picked up your clothes, carrying you to the tent.
"What in the world are you doing!?" You exclaimed.
"Playin..." Percy simply said as he set you down.
"H...Huh?"
Percy then grinned and held out your clothes.
"You had better not!" You yelled as he got ready to put the tiny top on.
"Fine!!! fine!! I'll take it off!" You whined as you gave him his jacket and started undressing.
"T...Turn around pervert..." You blushed as he chuckled. "Leave on th shirt... ye look cute in it..." He ruffled your hair and left you in a long, candycane looking shirt.
It was like a raggedy dress.

You thought it looked cute as well but you wanted him to put it back on...
So you took it off and ran after him.

You yelled his name and he turned, face looking shocked as you tackled him into the sand.

"I got'cha Percy!" You giggled as he began to shiver.
"Percy?"
"Top..."
"W...what?"
"N...no top...."
"Percy... english please?"
"Yur topless..."
You looked down and sure enough...
You had nothing on under Percy's top so now... your chest was exposed, you then squeaked and covered it with one arm.
"Y...your shirt... t...take it!" You blushed as he shakily took the shirt.
"G...Give me back my c...clothes please?" You whimpered and he complied as he covered his eyes, face red while you got dressed.
Percy was always honest like that.

You looked at Percy.
"It's okay to look now..."
Percy peeked and then sighed, seeing as you were clothed.

You sighed and went into the jungle, chasing butterflies and eventually chased one into a cave.
You looked around and eventually reached the end, where you found a small lake and you looked into it's beautiful, crystal water...

You touched the water and passed out.

When you awoke, Percy was calling your name but you couldn't see, your vision was blurry.
"P...Percy?" You called.

It had been hours that I was lookin for Y/n...
I called back to her...
Running the whole way... but when I found her...
She had become...
Porcelain...
Like me...
Well...
Kind of like me...
The reason I didn't let her see my body is because I look like a stitched up mess...
I'm made up of other people...
I was born this way... I don't understand why, I just am...
Just like Poppy Is made of some wood and mostly human and the Nurse is made of skin that cannot feel or bleed... like dolls... like puppets....

I was shocked... she was... like porcelain... she was like us...

"P...Percy?" She whimpered and then blinked both eyes.
"I... Is that you?"
Ah... she couldn't see well...
Now I understand...
She must have found a cursed object... usually a cursed object takes some time to fully form the thing it's cursin... now she can't ever go home... I don't have the heart to tell her... but I wont have a choice...

"I'm here sweetie..." I reply as I look at her beautiful eyes and pick her up, bridal style.
Y/n was soft... and squishy still but her skin resembled porcelain and her eyes... were like diamonds...
Sparkling and just... breathtakinly beautiful...

I carried her as she slowly regained sight and I sat down and sat her down on my lap, it started to rain...

She looked at her hands and asked me what was going on...
I told her with a heavy heart that she could never go home now, that she was stuck in Candle Cove forever...
I just couldn't bring myself to lie to her...

She cried and I comforted her...
I felt awful... humans that come here are always so happy when they get back home... but... seeing one like this... not bein able to get home, breaks me heart.

I suddenly heard a familiar sound of a ship I knew...

"PEEEEERRRRRRRRCCCCCYYYYY!!!!"
She boomed and I jumped, holding
Y/n I ran to the shoreline and waved at them.

"PERCY!!! Y/N!!! YOUR ALIVE!!!" Ms. Laughingstock boomed and I laughed.
"TAKES A BIT MORE THAN A SKELETON TO KILL ME!!" I called and she looked surprised that I had said somethin so brave.

We got on the ship and I explained to the crew what happened.
Y/n had fallen asleep so I set her onto her hammock and told the crew our story, I got noogied by Poppy...
A kiss from Janice, on the cheek of course..., a pat on the back from the banana king...
His hands were deathly cold...
And many hugs...

I stayed by Y/n's side and when she awoke I comforted her...
She accepted that she'd become part of the crew, forever...
I stayed by her side until he fell asleep.

I felt so sad... but... here... I feel like I mean something...

I listened to Percy's soft breathing and smiled, stroking his messy hair.
I'm quite happy now...
I have already told Percy that it's fine...

Actually... I was being honest...
I am fine... and I'm happy that this happened... now... I have something to live for.
