Sailing again. Chapter 22

Percy had become so much braver... you both were excited to be sailing again.

Percy though... was acting strangely again.
Percy was being rather... jittery, he was always being shy and blushing around you but most of all... he avoided you.

You eventually go to Doctor Heartfelt and sit down beside the pretty Doctor with needles sticking out of him.

You were wary of the needles as you watched him work..
"What might be bothering you child?" He finally asked as you watched him remove a needle from his soft skin.
You sigh and then finally ask. "Why is Percy avoiding me?" Doctor Heartfelt then looked at you, face shocked at first but then a gentle but humorous smile.
"Why do you think?"

You looked depressed and say. "Does he hate me?... is he mad that I almost was married off to the Earl? Or is he mad for getting us captured?" You started listing off things he could be mad at... and then you started listing the things he could hate about you as you slowly became more and more depressed.

Doctor Heartfelt stopped you and looked at you, holding up your face by the chin to face him.
"My dear... why do you hate yourself so much?" He asked, smile gone.
"I...I just..." You thought deeply as tears ran down your face. "I'm just so... ugly... unworthy of Percy..."
Doctor Heartfelt smiled at you again, gentle and caring. "And how is that sweetie?"

You sobbed and explained to him the things that have happened to you and the things people said...
You felt like garbage...
You wished you had stayed shattered because at least you were prettier than you were now.
"Y/n..."
Doctor Heartfelt's gentle voice removed you from your thoughts as you faced him, He wiped your crystal, blue tears and said. "Percy doesn't think that..."
You were about to say that he probably did but Doctor Heartfelt silenced you and said. "He came here to talk about his feelings for you... you should have heard him... he said that you were amazing... an angel... that he couldn't ask for anyone more beautiful inside and out than you... he was talking about how you keep getting more and more beautiful... as cheesy as that may sound... he went on and on about how you had been beautiful to begin with and how you just keep getting better and better. Percy was already head over heels for you when he first laid eyes on you." Doctor Heartfelt booped your nose and you giggled, tears leaving your face. "Percy is so madly in love with you my dear... he is not mad at you but he is shy... perhaps he doesn't know how to respond to how beautiful you have gotten?" Doctor Heartfelt said with a caring smile.

You looked at him and then kissed his cheek. "Thank you so much Doctor Heartfelt... I feel so much better!" The Doctor chuckled and said. "Wether it be a broken heart or a serious injury... just come to me and I will fix it."

You smiled back and left, waving goodbye as you left the room... only to bump into Percy, standing in the hallway...
He held an egg in his hands and gave it to you, it was beautiful, crystal colors and icey... it looked so beautiful but you wondered why and he finally spoke. "I...I'm sorry about avoidin you... I... I just..." Percy blushed deeply as he looked at you. "I wanted to make it a surprise... it's a dragon egg... and I've kept it since the first adventure that I went on..." Percy said proudly. "She's the last of her kind... she's a Diamond Glacier dragon... and she is goin to hatch pretty soon."
You stared at the small egg that sat in your hand.
"She gets to the size of a guinea pig..." Percy said with smile as you cuddled the egg gently.
"I love it... thank you."
You smiled and then blushed when he said. "I overheard what you said... and I wanted to make something clear."
He grabbed your chin gently and and had you face him, making him kiss you.
You looked at him wide eyed as he said. "I love you... no matter what'cha look like... I think you are beautiful!" Percy said with a large amount of courage.
"And I couldn't ask for anyone more amazin than you..."

You hugged him, and smiled as you said. "And I love you... even if you are a puppet in one life... even if you get broken... I will love you forever...
