Chapter 9

I'm driving but I still can't help but look over at her occasionally. When we pull up to my house the gates swing open and I park my mustang in the driveway. I get out of the car and go to Selena's side to open her door. "Wow Brody this house is huge!" "Oh I'm thanks" for the first time in my life I'm a little bit embarrassed about my money. I lead her up to my room and she sits in a chair, I sit in the one next to her and look at her. She's so gorgeous I want her to be my girlfriend so badly. "So Brody tell me something about yourself." I tell her about how I became famous and all of that. "Now you tell me something about yourself Selena." "Well I have two other siblings a brother and a sister, you met Austin and then I also have a little brother Mitchell." I reach over and touch her soft hand and she reaches her hand into mine. "Selena I've liked you ever since I saw you at my meet and greet and boy am I happy I meet and greeted you." "Brody can I ask you something?" "Yeah for sure." "Why do you like me?" I think for a while then say, "Your different than any other girl I've ever met you didn't come crawling to me I find that very attractive and also your smile just brightens up the room." She smiles ate and I lean closer to her and say, "I really want to kiss you right now Selena." "I know you do" she says and leans in a little closer "and I want you to kiss me, but not yet." She says pulling away. When she says this a feeling inside of me comes like I want that kiss even more than I did before. "Ok if you want to wait that's cool." I say even though that's not what I feel. She leans in again and slowly places her lips softly against mine. I feel sparks as our lips touch and I pull her in closer. She pulls away too soon and says "That was because you were willing to wait for me." She smiles and squeezes my hand and I pull her in and kiss her again. This time she doesn't pull away, after a while I do and I say, "I thought you didn't like me so why are you kissing me now?" "I always liked you Brody but I was scared to admit it because I didn't want to get hurt by you." I feel a sharp pain in my chest. I stand up and she stands up next to me. She kind of sheer 5 foot 7 maybe but I'm 6 foot 1 so it's perfect. I wrap my arms around her small waist and whisper into her ear "I'm so sorry I made you think that I was a player.  I didn't know how you felt. Thank you for this." I lean down and hug her we just stand there for a while. Eventually she brakes the silence "Thank you for not giving up on me." She kisses me and then says"I should probably be getting home now, could you drive me?" "Of course" I say and we walk to the car
