UAD 8: SHE courted me [Filler]

After that photoshoot, I went back to my normal schedule, Training sa umaga, klase, thesis making during break dahil nagpabida na si prof ng kabyang requirements at Training uli sa hapon.

But I felt queasy all throughout the day, parang may kulang..may missing piece. I just shook off the fweling.

"Namumutla ka, Thom. Punta ka na lang kaya sa clinic?" part of my queasiness reasons was that, classmate ko si Ara in almost all of my classes. I admit, during the first times sobrang nailang ako kase akala ko sobrang tahimik niya and all but then she suddenly burst out of her bubble and we were already in the platonic kind of friendship, besides, I had no legitimate reason para hindi rin siya pansinin, I can't go all mean to her dahil lang hindi niya ako maalala.

"I'll get by, Ars." Tolerable naman kase ang next class. It was our third for the day and as usual, late nanaman ang prof namin. Si Mr. Quirino. You see, even students ahead of us would verify kung gaano ka fan si Sir ng Filipino Time. He would often come in 15-20 minutes after our scheduled time kaya sinasamantala nalang namin ang free time for our thesis' chapter 1 revision.

Bigla naman kaming nakarinig ng sigawan sa labas.Well this was a familiar sight.

"Ano naman kayang pakulo to?" tanong ni Ara na feeling ko iritang irita na as of the moment. Same time yesterday, ganito rin ang nangyari, sigawan sa labas tapos we would all go to check it out just to see a guy on his knees infront of a girl tapos may nagvivideo sa gilid. In short. Public display of affection.

Just like yesterday, nagsitayuan na nga uli ang mga kaklase namin to check it out but we didn't budge. Seconds later pumasok naman agad sila ng tahimik.

"Nasaan siya? Nasaan?" we all looked to the front to see a pale white girl in a crazy notion. Nagulat ako sa pagkabaliw niya pero mas nagitla ako noong nakilala ko kung sino siya.

"Arra?" I nervously asked. Nakita ko naman na natense ang katabi ko. Screw it. Same name.

Her horrific expression changed into a wide grin and told me, "Thom!! Labas ka dali!" bago siya umalis agad.

"You know her?" tanong ni Ara.

"Yup. Siya yung kasama ko sa shoot after we bumped into each other, yung time na nagpaphotocopy ka."

"I see, I see. Hinihintay ka na niya sa labas."

"Cover me nalang if dumating na si Sir ah?" sabi ko at nagayos na para umalis, tumango naman siya.

When I went out, nagulat ako nung nakita ko ulit yung terror na photog, Si Alex. Katabi niya yung iba ibang staff nung day ng photoshoot.

And Arra....Arra was in the middle.

"Thom! First of all, I'm really sorry that I went on with this public confession without your consent but I really do hope you'd consider me, I really really like you. Huhuhu. And I strongly believe in the saying 'Kapag mahal mo, sabihin at iparamdam mo!' so here I am professing my love to you. No second thoughts. No pretensions."
She said as she handed me a blue box with a golden laced ribbon.

Kinawayan niya naman ako at agad na Tumakbo sa mga kasama niya na binatok pa siya. Napako pa rin ako sa kinatatayuan ko hanggang tumalikod siya at sumigaw, "THOM! MANLILIGAW PALA AKO AH?"
