My name is Ella Rose Valentine. I actually really hate my name, it's so... Girly. But everyone calls me Ella because they think Rose is my middle name. Nope. Still my first name. My friend Carson told me that it doesn't fit me that I look and act more like a Drew, but no my parents had to call me one of the girliest names out there. Anyway enough ranting about my name haha. I'm 17 and home schooled because my mom doesn't exactly get along well with teachers. I live with my mom, dad, and 12 year old kid brother, Corbin.
My room just so happens to be in the basement which isn't all bad because it's actually huge. Plus the other half of the basement is like the coolest place ever. My parents decided that they didn't want our friends trashing their living room so they built this one for us. I'm not the most popular person in Orlando though so mostly for my brother and his friends. My parents moved us here when I was around 11 and ever since we've lived here. My friend Carston practically lives here with us, well at least she did now she's taking college classes and trying to be responsible so she got an apartment. My parents love her ,partially because she's the only friend I have.
Anyways I love anything to do with music and if you looked in my room you could tell. Along one wall I have guitar after guitar lined up, each having something different from the ones surrounding it. I have about a dozen or more other instruments that are anything from a trumpet to a double bass to a drum set ( which is my personal favorite ). Then in the corner I have a little glass booth and my recording stuff. I don't use it a lot but I like recording some of the songs I write or listen to. There are music notes hanging all over my green walls and Cd's stacked everywhere. The coolest part about it though is my ceiling fan. My parents painted it so that when its turned on and spinning it looks like an old record.
Everybody tells me I'm a decent singer but I was cursed with stage fright. I wasn't always that way though. When I was little I loved to sing and dance and play anything I could get ahold of. I was really shy back then too so when my singing and performing started getting me a lot of attention I stopped doing it. I hated attention of any kind. If I was in the spotlight I thought I was going to mess up and I couldn't take the pressure. So I did what any other 5 year old would do. Stop doing what I love, now the only person who's ever heard me sing is Carston and ,when I don't know they're around, my parents.
Oh and I really like this band called Before You Exit. They're this pop rock group from around here and they aren't all that bad. I really like their music it's not just a bunch of teeny bopper whatever music, it has a message to it with meaning like a good song should have. Now just because I like them though don't go assuming I'm just that typical boy-band obsessed teen. I like all kinds of music but mostly rock, pop, and dance/techno. I only like a few rappers but they still have really good music.I like to be by myself a lot but I usually go outside for that. My family except my dad are afraid of outside or something because unless they have to they stay inside. I usually go to the swinging bench in our yard, I like to sit out there for hours because it's more peaceful and relaxing. We live in a small little neighborhood where the houses aren't very close together and it's pretty far away from any of the major roads and highways. We don't exactly live out in the country but we definitely aren't in the middle of the city either.
Our house is beside an alley too so we technically only have one neighbor, but nobody ever stays in that house for long. There is actually a couple moving in today, and they seem to have kids from what I can see. I just hope they aren't like the rest of the people that have lived there. They all hated me even though I wasn't one of those annoying neighbors. They were always either college kids or old people.
I sit there watching the family move boxes in and listen to my IPod. As I watch them I see that there are three boys. The one that looks the oldest has sandy blond hair and piercing blue eyes ( Which I can see from here so they have to be blinding up close. ). The youngest looking one has dark brown hair and from here it looks like he has chocolaty brown eyes. And finally the one who looks about in between the two, who I personally think looks the best. He has darker hair than the younger one but I'm not completely sure if it's black or just really dark brown, and hazel colored eyes.I'm pretty sure they haven't noticed me ,but honestly I don't mind. Personally I can't say I blame them there's not much to notice about me. I have long brown hair and Sky blue eyes. I'm fairly pale compared to most of the people that live around here because I don't tan. Not only because it's bad for me but because I literally don't tan, I burn... I don't have any freckles which I really wish I did but whatever I guess. I don't wear make up because I just hate it but people tell me I don't need it anyway. They say something like I naturally look like I wear it anyway. Which personally I don't believe. I just don't think make up would make me look any better.
I notice the boys seem fairly nice and aren't total jerks. That's always a good thing. So far they seem like they could be some really cool people. I just hope they like me otherwise it's going to suck being neighbors.
