Chapter 9

It took Carson about an hour and a half to do my hair and makeup. It would've been an hour but I kept refusing to wear makeup then only allowed it to be natural looking. Yep I'm high maintenance. Well not really just stubborn when it comes to these kinds of things. 

I slipped into the dress. I walked over to look at something on one of my walls and let out a loud scream. Suddenly Riley and Carson burst in the room flipped the fudge out. 

" What's wrong ?! " Carson squeals.

Why'd you scream ?! " Riley asks from the door.

" Who the heck is that extremely attractive girl ,and why is she doing everything I do ?! " I scream pointing at the person standing in front of me scared to the moon. They suddenly start laughing. Why are they laughing ? 

" You're kidding me right now right ? " Carson said between fits of laughter. 

" No... ? " I say still insanely confused. Confuzzled as I like to call it. Yeah don't judge I make up words sometimes. 

" That's you. " Riley said walking over behind me. 

" Popstar say what ? " I ask. 

" It's a mirror Elle. That person you just called extremely attractive was yourself. " Carson explains with an occasional giggle. 

" You're kidding me right ? " I asked confused. 

" Nope. She's dead serious and you're right she is extremely attractive. " Riley said with a wink. Cheeky boy that one is. 

" Not looking to bad yourself Mr.M. Now how did you make my potato self look like... Well this ! " I say motioning to myself in the mirror. 

" Babe it wasn't that hard. To be honest I didn't really have to do anything. If you actually tried you would actually look like that all the time. " She said. 

" Lies ! You can't take a sweater wearing loner and transform her just like that ! " I shout. 

" It was fairy dust ! " She said and sprinkled the air. 

" What the- ? " I was cut off by a screaming 7 year old. Oh that explains a lot. 

" Are you a fairy ?! " Melody shrieked up to Carson. 

" Yep. Sure am. " She lied sprinkling glitter around the room. Well that's going to be fun to clean up later...

" I'm being babysitted by a fairy ! I bet you know Tinkerbell and everything ! " Melody fangirled. Ah the young fangirl in her natural habitat. Approach at your own risk ! 

" Wait wha- " I started but ,as a recurring pattern, was cut off. 

" I made sure she would babysit while we we're gone. " Riley whispered in my ear from behind me. Which really tickled. 

" Oh... " I stated awkwardly... Smooth going ya dummy ! 

" Well we should probably go now if we want to make it in time. " He said as he left the room and started to go downstairs. 

" Bye you guys ! Don't cause too much trouble and Melody I'm trusting you not to let Carson get arrested ! " I yelled back to them while following Riley. 

When we got to the car he did that thing 'gentlemen' do and opened my door for me. I didn't mind but it did feel sort of cheesy. I don't really like cheesy things. Except pizza and bread and- Okay off topic dude. Back to reality. 

" When we get to this premiere they'll ask you a million questions and shove microphones and who knows what else in your face. I'll be right there beside you but only answer what you feel comfortable answering okay ? " He said looking over at me nervously. I nodded then realized he was driving and probably didn't see it.
