[Part 7]

"I don't know why you want him for anything at all, Vanda. He's really crazy. I've been dealing with hate mails from a girl named Regine, and she's even threatening to hunt him down and kill him." Tori seemed to be trying her best to dissuade, but Vanda had her mind fixed on the idea. The stunt being a stripper for Renee's birthday party had given Vanda a great candidate for her plan for a successful reality show.

Right now, Vanda was struggling to come up with suitable candidates, as well as a good title for the concept she had drawn and mapped out clearly in her head. 'Master Jack of Trades' was the back-up plan for a title, but she found it rather plain, though very obvious. Her concept was to find a bunch of hot-looking men, and put them through a series of increasingly tough and embarrassing jobs, to see which one could be skilled enough to be considered the 'Jack of All Trades, and Master of All.'

It sounded simple, but Vanda knew the American audience well. Everybody liked to watch people be put in uncomfortable spots, and watch the smarter ones charm their way out while the less-abled ones floundered. If Vanda could find good-looking men to partake in something like that, along with a good host and team, she was guaranteed a big hit for a TV show. And that would guarantee a success with negotiating with Pierre Devaux, and Jean-Jacques wouldn't be able to snub her anymore.

"He's the perfect candidate for the project I'm planning." Vanda answered, furiously drafting her plans for the episodes. She had already decided that stripping would be the final challenge for the men in the show, since Kay had already shown aptitude for it despite not having stripped before. Somehow, she doubted the man when she saw his skills on Renee. "You said he was good at modeling for all sorts of things, and it isn't easy to be an all-rounder like that. I want someone like that, and anyone who's good-looking, and considers themselves odd-job people."

"You don't mind working with a crazy person?" Tori asked, but Vanda couldn't help her laugh. Could she consider Kay a crazy man? Maybe. Immoral? Most probably. But none of it mattered to her, because the concept of her upcoming show was simple; hot men who had the skills to do and master many things.

"As long as he makes this show a success, I'll take anyone. Even if he walked out of an asylum, I'll want him." Vanda declared, looking up to see her friend's dubious expression. The suspicion, Vanda decided, would be best dissipated early as she sighed and rested her pen. "I wasn't going to tell you this in case you got overly excited, but I need desperately to make this TV show a success."

"Why?" Tori still looked suspicious, but this time there was curiosity as well. While some people joined Parthenon Studios in hopes of making it big, to become great producers and directors in hopes of going to Hollywood, Tori and Vanda were not like those people as well. In fact, the both of them were always relaxed, and not really caring about their future; mainly on enjoying themselves. Rather; Vanda had never had the need to strive for the future since she had forever panned out before her. At least until now.

"Have you heard of Pierre Devaux?" Vanda asked, and the understandable confused look appeared on her friend's face.

"Of course. Who haven't?" Tori answered.

"Well, I've made a deal with his daughter. If this television show is a great success, she'll convince her father to open up a new television network that I'll head." Vanda let in, carefully hiding the parts about the fact that the television network would be specialized for vampires only, and that it was crucial in her help to a vampire war.

"You know his daughter?" Tori's eyes grew wide, mainly because the poor woman was totally oblivious to Vanda's other life outside of work. But Vanda supposed that it was fair that her fellow Council Members were all nonchalant about her human friend at work as well.
