[Part 6]
"I might have been posing half-naked in front of cameras selling products, but it is not often that I find myself about the strip right down to sell my little buddy to a woman." Kay commented, feeling a little unsure of the moment. It wasn't that he was unconfident of his genitalia, but rather that he was still quite unused to the openness of the States. To say that he was still suffering from a culture shock was a total understatement, but Kay decided that he liked the new freedom that the 'Land of the Free' was offering for him.
The fact that he could give a stranger a lap dance without being a certified stripper, and not be arrested for such a daring move? Kay might be a little disturbed that he was the only person invited to be a stripper in this party, but he liked the freedom he was allowed. Also, he would like to see Vanda's reaction to his moves as well.
When she'd fallen on him once more a week ago, threatening him with her hand over his little stick, he'd been tempted to take her right there and then on the spot. But he didn't want to soil the woman, and he didn't want to make bad impressions. Kay admitted that Vanda appeared to be more interesting and attractive to him than most other women he'd met since he touched down in the States. He always got the sense that she was a woman desperately shackled by her responsibilities, and he wanted to test what crazy things she could do if given the license to. In a way, Kay sensed that she was very alike him, and he liked it. He liked that she wasn't condemning him for anything –even though he knew Tori was gossiping about how 'whacked out' he was.
"It should be quite alright. Alvron's going to be there too, so you don't have to worry. If you can't, then let Alvron do the job. But if you can, work hard on Renee." Vanda suggested, a delighted grin on her face as she led the both of them into an elevator. They were in a pretty high-classed hotel in the area, and Kay was mildly surprised when Vanda thumbed 'P' for the penthouse suite.
Was a penthouse suite specially booked for a simple bachelorette party? He had heard that the princess of the day was Renee Devaux, the daughter of the billionaire Pierre Devaux, but he never really thought that Vanda would go all the way to book a penthouse suite for a short five minute lap dance from him. At least; that was what Vanda had told him –though he suspected that there was going to be more than a simple five minute dance from him.
The elevator door closed, enclosing the both of them in the fair-sized elevator, a comfortable distance side by side.
"Have you checked the place for Russians?" He asked in faint interest, remembering the hard animosity boiling between the North American and Russians. It was hard to believe that the Council was at war with Russians considering how he had a Council Member at his side, escorting him to a bachelorette party of her close friend's that she'd planned herself.
Granted, he had been told that Renee Devaux was about to be married off to someone in the Council –hence placing the second stupid woman to be pledging herself to a vampire in the middle of a war. But still, how could women still be up for bachelorette parties in the middle of a war? He shuddered to imagine their Council Master contacting Alzheimer's due to old age.
"I booked the place personally after hacking into their servers and making sure that there's no Russians or anyone with possible motives of siding with them living here. Besides, I've had Dante scout around this place an hour before. We need to keep the place safe for the ladies. And besides, we have Alvron." Vanda answered, and he nodded. Kay got the idea that there was supposed to be more details when it came to securities like these, but Vanda was giving them all a break. Besides, she was supposed to be 'kidnapping' the fiancée of a Council Member, hence answering her lack of need of having the security members of the Council scouting out the place.
