Your My Only Hope (Jacky Vincent fanfic)

ch 24

     We pulled up to the movie theatre and got out. We walked to the front desk wear a teenage boy was standing. "hey. Can we get 6 for insidious chapter 2." Ronnie said pulling some money from his pocket.

      The boy looked at Ronnie. "y.yes s.sir." He stuttered and turned to the computer to print some tickets. Once they where printed he handed then to Ronnie.

      "ok. Would 3 large papcorns, 6 drinks, and 3 candys be enough?" Ronnie asked.

       "yea." Ron, Ryan, and derek said in unison. Ronnie chuckled and walked to the candy counter with the rest of us behind him.

      "could i get 3 large popcorn, 6 drinks, and 3 candys." Ronnie ordered. The girl behind the counter got the popcorn and put it on the counter.

      "what drinks and candy?" She asked grabbing 6 cups.

       "Coke." Ronnie and derek both ordered.

       "sprite." Ron ordered.

       "Dr pepper." Ryan ordered.

        "lemonade." Jacky ordered.

       "root beer." I ordered last.

     She filled up the cups and put them on the counter. "what kind of candy?" She asked moving to the bucket with candy in it.

      "Skittles, sour patch kids, and Swedish fish." Ronnie said and pulled out money to pay for the food.  everybody grabbed their drinks. Jacky, derek, and Ron grabbed popcorn and jacky grabbed the Swedish fish, ron grabbed the sour patch kids, and Ryan grabbed the Skittles.

    We all walked to the theatre on got our seats. Ronnie sat on left end, then ron, derek, Ryan, me, and jacky. I liked where i sat i could eat Skittles and Swedish fish. My favourite candy! Me and jacky ended up sharing popcorn and candy. I pulled my phone out and turned it off.

      The movie started and me and jacky ate popcorn and Swedish fish. Every time something would scare me i would jump and whimper a little.

     Near the end of the movie i was sitting with my knees to my chest and when ever i would get scared i would hide my face in my knees.

      The last 10 minutes of the movie i was scared out of my mind. The last scare of the movie happened and i hid my face and whimpered. I felt a hand on my back rubbing in a small circular motion.

     I looked up to jacky and he was looking at me with a sympathetic smile. The credits started to roll and we all stood up and stretched. I grabbed my empty cup and popcorn bowl and followed the guys out.

    I threw away the empty containers and grabbed a few Swedish fish me and jacky didn't finish. I grabbed my phone and turned it on. I looked at the time. 3:54.

     "awesome movie!" Ryan exclaimed jumping up and down. Everybody laughed at him and continued to walk out of the building and two the car.

     "what do you wanna do now?" Ron asked standing in front of the car.

     "how about the park?" I asked. Looking at Ron and Ronnie.

     "sure." Ronnie shrugged and we all got in. I sat next to jacky and finished the candy. We all talked about random things on the way.

     my phone buzzed and i pulled my phone out and looked who texted me. And of course it wad Emily.
Emily: where the f*ck are you! I checked your house and no one is there!
Me: going to the park with the guys. Long story I'll tell you at the park.

     "do you guys mind if Emily joins us at the park?" I asked.

     "sure she can come." Ron said.

     "thanks." I said as we pulled up the the park. We all got out and walked towards the swings. Getting a few weird looks from some mothers on the way.
