I was so confused and caught off guard when Azure heard everything, everything caught me off guard I mean , Denisha and I never did anything other than kiss and that was years ago .

Devin just stared at me with this dumb blank look
Me: well answer me
Devin: I mean the only thing Denisha and I did was kiss, it was years ago didn't mean anything but as far as Denisha & I having sex we didn't.
Me: you mean to tell me that you brought me around this girl, told me y'all was brother and sister , but you use to mess with her? Is that what your telling me.
Devin: Azure you're not listening to me that's not what im saying i would never disrespect you like that it was years ago and it was only a kiss. Don't you see Shaquavia just-----
* I cut him off *
Me: Shaquavia just what? kiss or not you never told me anything, you made me look stupid, you've embarrassed me continuously in front of everyone then you're here at the hospital why because? It takes me getting into an accident for you to realize what you've got right in front of you? you've tried me multiple times, you looked me in my eyes Devin loud and clear and said, " you don't care " " I just wanted to fuck ", " so if you don't care why the fuck are you here?"
My mom walks in, "'baby your up? what's going on in here? why is Shaquavia in here? "
Shaquavia: " oh don't worry miss I'm leaving now."
Shaquavia leaves my hospital room smiling.
To my surprise my mom looks at me for a long period of time and says," so you having sex now?" I wanted to say no but then im pretty sure she knew. " mom if you know the answer then please don't stress me out " which reminded me, " is my baby ok?" Devin and my mom stared at me and I could tell by the looks in their eyes it wasn't going to be a good answer.
Me:"well is anybody going to answer me?"
My doctor walks in and interrupts my question from being answered, "Hey Azure how do you feel?"
Me:"Don't hey me is my baby ok? where's my bestfriend? why isn't nobody answering me"
Doctor: "Azure I need you to calm down."
Me: "How am i suppose to calm down when nobody's not answering me!!!!!"
Doctor: " your baby nor Sierra didn't make it."
It was a long pause of silence. I wanted to cry but there wasn't anymore tears left in me. I thought to myself ," it was my fault, if I never thought about going to Devin house I wouldn't even be in this situation, I wish i never met Devin, I wish we never had sex, i wish he never fought for me that day, im just so done and over him.
* 3 weeks goes by *
It's finally time for me to get out the hospital. My mom couldn't pick me up, so Deandre did . I know what y'all thinking Deandre ain't that Devin homeboy it's nothing like that tho Deandre & I weren't close but when we chilled we clicked tight.
Deandre : " damn soul survivor done put on a few pounds in the hospital."
Me: * starts laughing * what you expect when you lay in a bed nonstop for 3 weeks and eat ?
Deandre: * laughing * "but foreal tho Azure I'm glad you good."
Me: "thanks Deandre, so how you been?"
Deandre: "I been good, tryna finish this high school shit ready to leave this shit."
Me:"still no girlfriend?"
Deandre: "man you know that lifestyle ain't fa me, so wassgood with you and my dawg man?"
Me: "what you mean wassgood with me and that man, we done, we over, don't want nothing to do with him."
Deandre: "come on Devin loves you man?"
Me: "I didn't know hurting someone is showing them how much you love them?"
we pull up to my house and I see, " welcome home Azure." I look at Deandre," who put you up to this?" It wasn't my idea, I get out the car and walk to my door I open it up and my mom , Devin , & Mr.Dean pop out of nowhere yelling,"SURPRISE!!!!" I'm not excited, im annoyed,"WHY ARE YOU HERE?MOM WHY IS HE HERE? WHAT PART OF I DONT WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU DONT YOU UNDERSTAND." I run up to my room and slam my door and started screaming in my pillow, next thing I know I hear my door open
Devin: "look I know I hurt you and you probably don't want to hear what I have to say but girl you mean everything to me, what can I do to make it better."
Me: " I'm tired of explaining myself to you it's like you don't get it,I do something wrong it takes me almost dying for you to take me back, you doing something wrong I have to take you back no matter what you've done. It doesn't work that way, it's because of you Sierra isn't here, It's because of you I lost my baby, you didn't care wen I was on your front step crying to you embarrassing myself in front of everyone to you for you to just deny me."
Devin: "hold up, your baby it was our baby, you don't think I'm hurt too? "
Me: "once again Devin it's not about you, you have a family right? So go be with your family."
Devin: "what are you talking about?"
Me: "I heard everything you said Devin, you butt dialed me and I heard everything you and Shaquavia were talking about."
Devin:"what the fuck are you talking about? If anything I told Shaquavia I don't wanna go back down that road again."
I grabbed my phone and replayed the voicemail
Devin: "wait you got it all wrong."
