Chapter 14

Azure

So many thoughts were running through my head, my mom had me thinking the whole time my dad ran away and left. I didn't know what to believe. I needed answers, everything was becoming too stressful.
Me: "Devin take me home I need to speak to my mom."
Devin: "Azure wait until the morning it's late and it's raining."
Me: "I don't care Devin, I need answers."

Knowing Devin can't say no to me was one of the advantages about him.

We get in the car, Devin was trying to have a conversation but I was so zoned out. We pull up in front of my house of course Mr.Dean car is still here. I bang on the door, no answer. I bang again, still no answer. I left my key when I stormed out the house earlier.

Devin: "yo lets just come back in the morning she's probably sleep."
Me: "Devin I know my mom, the lady is the lightest sleeper ever, she hears everything."
Devin: "Azure its 4:15 in the morning we'll just come back again when everybody's up."
Me: "fine."

I knew my mom was being petty because of our argument earlier but if she doesn't think that I won't have this talk with her she's out her mind. We get back to Devins house, he gets out his side of the car and picks me up and carries me like a baby. I had to admit with everything we both went through tonight we were kinda tired. He tucks me in and kisses me on the forehead.

***** Next Day *****

I couldn't sleep so I just got up and started cleaning the house. I needed to get my mind off of this situation. I woke up to an empty house, Devin was gone. as I'm cleaning I look on top of Devins dresser and I see a phone, I'm not the type to go through my nigga phone but the suspicion was killing me because I'm wondering why does this nigga have two phones. The phone was dead so I thought it was an old phone he had but then I notice something strange about the phone it had the letter, " S " in the back of my mind I thought why would his old phone have the letter, "S" and his name is Devin. I decide to call Devin and figure out where he's at. I call but get no answer. I tried to avoid the phone so I put it back down, 30 minutes passed by and Devin still wasn't home and I was being tempted to see what and whose phone that was. I said fuck it, grabbed the phone and put it on the charger. It took a couple mins for the phone to turn on, I ran over and notice their was a code on the phone. I thought to myself shit, what am I gonna do? Instead I just thought it wasnt meant for me to go through the phone. I heard the door open, I tried to hide the phone but Devin walked in on me.
Devin: "what are you doing?"
Me: "where you coming from?"
Devin: "I got us breakfast, I figured since we had a stressful night we could start our day right but what were you doing before I walked in here?"
Me: "why you questioning me?"
Devin walks over to me
Devin: "what's behind your back?"
Me: "uhh nothing."
Devin: "Azure."
At this point I had a right to know whose phone it was, like I shouldn't have to be inspector gadget to get an answer, so I asked straight up.
Me: "whose phone is this?"
Devin: "uh idk probably Shaquavia's."
Me: "what is her phone doing here?"
Devin: "how am I suppose to know?"
Me: "that's your girlfriend right?"
Devin: "ay man tighten up."
Felt so good to hear Devin deny Shaquavia
Me: "you know the password to her phone?"
Devin: "for what? Why you going through her phone?"
Me: "are you in her phone? Is there something I need to know? If not give me the password."
I thought to myself bitch you crazy asf, but then idc.
Devin: "um idk try my name."

I tried Devins name, why didn't I think of that in the first place. I know I'm crazy I went through this girl messages and pictures no Devin but then I seen something that caught my eye it was a video. Which made sense to why the phone was hidden, I was curious to see what Shaquavia's sex room was like because she got homeboys turning on eachother it must be something serious. I'm watching the video i wasn't mad because Devin told me they had sex but what got me upset was that Devin was fucking this bitch raw.
