(Duke Of England, Charles^^)

Catalina

"Isabell—" I heard Jasmine say as she stepped forward, but stopped in the middle of her sentence as she recollected herself and closed her mouth, a look of sympathy flashing in her eyes. I, I could not stop the tears from escaping no matter how much I wanted to. I could not control the amount of pain I was in and therefore, I could not help my cries.

No one helped me, they all just looked at me. With the amount of pain that I was in, I felt as if I could not move,

"Get up" Isabella sneered at me, I looked up at her as I sniffled and I could not help but to look at her is disbelief. When I did not comply with her request immediately, I saw Mrs. Bieber from the corner of my eyes looking at Isabella keenly to see just what she is going to do.

Isabella noticed the stares and that made her even more angry,

"I am your superior and I command you to get up!" She glared in disgust, and even though I was in pain, I forced myself to slowly rise from the floor.

Mrs Bieber raised her chin slightly, then nodded once in approval. As her lips formed into a small smirk, she took a step forward and placed a hand on her soon to be daughter-in-law, "well done, Isabella. You are going to be a great Queen" she said, hearing that statement made Isabella's expression soften as she slightly bowed her head in response, "Thank you, Pattie. My father will be arriving soon, I need to change my attire" and with that, she left the room, Jasmine leaving with her.

"Each day, it is as if you are begging to be punished" she turned to me and said, I took a deep breath and wiped my eyes that had stray tears, "It was an honest mistake",

"It does not matter. You are by far the worst slave that has stepped foot in this house" she frowned. I looked at her as the words rolled off my tongue, "then why do you keep me here?" I asked. The Royal family, has all the power in this country. If they wanted to move me to another household — they could more than get it done. And if I am being a constant pest, why keep me here? Now, it would be different if I was in any other household, because they would either have to kill me, or keep me there ... but they would not be able to take me somewhere else.

At first she looked upset that I would even dare to question her, but took a deep breath and glanced around as if making sure no one could hear, "Because you are important to Rebecca, and apparently, you are a possible threat" she stated, "there are many things we do not know about you and we need answers"

I gulped and shook my head, "There are many things that I do not know about myself either. Even if I wished to, I could not give you the answers that you are looking for"

"As a child, you must have seen something. You must have heard something pertaining to who your father is. We need to know who your father is" she said strictly in a low tone so that her voice, was only audible to me.

"I do not know. I do not know anything about my father! For all I knew, he could have raped my mother and left without any return. So no, I cannot help you" I sad as the sadness filled my voice. Mrs. Bieber clenched her jaw and slightly glared at me, "I will let your tone with me pass for today" she stated before talking a few steps away from me, then stopped, "you have done enough damage for the day so you are dismissed. I expect to not hear nor see you 'till on the morrow" and with that, the queen walked away and out of sight.

It did not take me long to exit the royal home. I had the urge to sit down and breathe for a moment. I had the choice of going back to my quarters and laying on the bed, but I walked the opposite direction and went the the far side of the house instead. 'Round there, led to the back of the Royal Home where there was a very beautiful pond and a garden which surrounded it all over. No doubt was the water ice-cold considering the weather, but I only wanted to watch the birds as the flew around and take the chance to admire the beauty of such a large scenery.
