[BoNa]

It was sometime past noon and the day was passing by just like any regular school day. First to second period and so on then it was lunch. Everyone stuck with their regular schedule like nothing about the news of Jungkook can disrupt it. For everyone, it was nothing but for me, I didn't even know how I could still move or even breathe after hearing what had happened.

Jungkook was lying lifelessly in a hospital bed, heart still beating, chest still rising and falling but he was considered to be no better than dead. No better than a cold body.

I sat here in class wondering about him, not caring about the fact that I was taking a big test at the moment or worrying about as to where V had run off to. But even if I couldn't read minds like V, I knew as to where he had run to. Just like me, he ran to find Jungkook. To find out for himself if it was true or not. The only difference was that, I didn't have the guts to go find him. I didn't have the willpower to do it because I just couldn't.

So I sat here, not touching my paper or pencil. I turned it in blank and left school even if there was still two more hours.

My feet didn't want to go home. My feet didn't want to go onto the familiar roads where I have past by Jungkook many times before. I avoided the park where we always played on when we were child. I avoided everything that reminded me of him. But ironically, I made my way to his house. To where I know he would be because he was not lying in a cold room in the hospital.

I rang the doorbell multiple times but no one answered. No one except my imaginations. In front of me, I see Jungkook staring at me with a smile worn on his lively face only to see nothing once a few seconds past.

"What are you doing?" A familiar voice forced me to bring my head up from its resting position.

V stood a few feet away from me, face unreadable. His hair was soaking wet from his sweat and he was panting. He limped towards me as if walking didn't hurt him one bit. As if he himself wasn't devastated from the news. Afterall, they were friends. Close too.

"Jungkook won't open the door..." I whisper, tears suddenly blurring my vision as I look up to him.

He struggled to sit down beside me and when he did, he rested his head onto my shoulder. His sweat trickled down his face and finally splashing onto my school uniform. We sat in silence while the leaves from the nearby tree converse with the wind. Silent or not, it wasn't quiet enough for us to clear our mind. To see that everything that had happened could have been prevented if only I have tried harder.

"It's not your fault..." V blurt out somehow sounding as if he was trying to control his emotions. "It was all an accident. You can't put the whole blame on yourself."

I didn't respond because no matter what he said, I couldn't help but feel partially at fault for it. V lifted his head and turn to me with mixtures of emotions dancing in his eyes. Without warning me, V took my wrist and in a matter of seconds we were up and and walking away from the lonely house.

"W-where are we going?" I manage to speak without choking.

"To Jungkook." V turns back as he continue to limp ahead of me, giving me a dejected smile.

Author's Note:

How was it? Not the best, huh? It's fine I couldn't agree more with you guys. There is more updates coming up soon so be on the lookout. I will (HOPEFULLY) try to finish "V" by tonight or so cause there is only like three or four more chapters left to go.
