It was the day I had been dreading. It was November 2nd. As I rolled out of bed at 11'oclock the only thing I wanted to do was have a pyjama day, eat junk food and watch soppy films but oh no, I was off to a stupid concert. I was really getting myself over worked about this concert dear me. I was really tempted to call them and tell them I was sick, but they would never have forgiven me. I was too worked up to eat breakfast, so I decided to run a hot bubble bath to relax me so that I was calm. After my long and relaxing bath, I realised I was gonna look like a wally at the concert because I didn't know any of their songs, there's that one, something about beautiful. Ari and Rose always tried to get me to listen to their music but I would just switch off. I opened up my laptop and typed One Direction into YouTube and clicked on a couple of songs. They weren't that bad the music is alright I just didn't get the huge fuss over them. They weren't really my type of music, too boyband pop but for some people that is perfect. I tried to remember some of the words but for years I had been blocking them out, so they went in one ear and out the other. I listened to the songs for an hour, I now knew the odd word to 'What Makes You Beautiful', 'One Thing', 'Kiss You' and 'One Way Or Another' because the original is just a classic. It was about 1.30 by the time I had finished my research I now knew their names and some songs that's ok I supposed. I felt proud. My tummy grumbled and I remembered that I hadn't had anything to eat all day. Snack time. I plodded downstairs in my onesie, and into the kitchen. I went straight to the freezer and grabbed the tub of cookie dough Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I could live on Ben and Jerry's but I would have a permanent brain freeze. I found a note on the table from my mother saying her and my father had taken my brothers to football training and wouldn't be back until 6. By the time I had finished my ice cream it was 2'oclock. We were leaving at 5, god knows why. I decided I should get ready. When I reached my bedroom I plugged in my hair dryer and started to dry my hair. Drying my hair is such a chore and I hate it. Once my hair was dry I plugged my straighteners in, I really hadn't put any thought into my outfit I was just going to see what happened unlike my best friends. Once I had straightened my hair I just decided to leave it like that I couldn't be bothered to style it properly. I decided to do my make-up, I decided to go for a heavier make up look. I applied my usual concealer but I also added foundation, then I set it with powder and added some blusher. After I applied a thin line of liquid liner to my top eyelids. Then I applied my mascara and my make-up was completed. After I walked over to my bed and picked up my laid out outfit. I put on some flesh coloured tights. Then pulled my t-shirt over my head, making sure I didn't smudge my make-up. Maybe I should have done my make-up last. Once it was on I pulled my skirt up my legs and positioned it where my belly button was and fastened the belt. I was almost ready and it was only 4.30, grrr. I decided to look up the lyrics of the songs I had sort of learned. As I skimmed the lyrics I founded myself humming along, oh dear. But once again they wouldn't stick in my head, poop!. I could just hum along nobody will care. It was now 4.45, I placed my owl necklace on and then slid my white converse over my feet. I placed my leather jacket on and grabbed my bag and tossed my phone and purse in. I looked at myself in the mirror and made sure I looked half decent. I headed downstairs and off to meet Ari and Rose at the tube station. The night I had dreaded since the second they asked me had come and I had never been more nervous.
