As we stepped inside, I gasped. It was beautiful. It was so posh and fancy. It had big old fashioned windows with red velvet curtains. The floor was simple and wooden and the walls were a cream colour with amazing paintings scattered all over them. Right in the centre on the ceiling was a massive glass chandelier, it was magnificent. I had never seen anything like it. The round table's were topped with white silk table clothes and were set perfectly with fresh flowers in the middle. It took me a minute to process the sheer beauty of the restaurant. I was amazed and overwhelmed.
'Harry, this place is amazing' I whispered into his ear as we approached the desk.
'Name' the snooty man at the desk spoke with his posh annoying accent.
'Styles' harry spoke politely.
The man signalled a waiter over, who greeted us much more pleasantly than his friend.
'This way sir' he spoke, in a much nicer tone.
We walked past many posh couples and families who stared at us, obviously knowing who Harry was. We reached our table and Harry pulled the chair out for me to sit down and he joined me on the other side and we were then presented with menus.
'Thank you' Harry spoke to the waiter, never drawing his attention from me.
'What?' I questioned him puzzled.
'Nothing, I just can't believe the fact you are actually on a date with me and how beautiful you look' he spoke slowly.
I felt my cheeks heating up and my heart increased at his compliment. I giggled unable to respond. I stared at the menu not knowing what any of the food was, it was all too fancy. I must have had a look at it about 100 times.
'Harry' I mumbled.
'Yeah?'
'I, erm, I don't understand these fancy dishes' I spoke, feeling embarrassed.
'Oh right' he laughed.
'Shall I decode them for you' he teased.
'Yes please' I laughed.
After Harry had decoded the dishes and I had decided what I wanted the waiter came back.
'What can I get you sir?' he asked.
'Can I have the steak please?'
'How would you like that cooked?'
'Medium, please'
'And for you madame?'
'The salmon please'
'And any drinks?'
'Can we have a bottle of white wine and two glasses please'
'Certainly, anything else?'
'That is all thank you' harry responded.
'No problem' he spoke, as he collected the menus from us.
Moments later, a bottle of white wine and two glasses was presented at our table.
'Thank you' Harry spoke.
'So, Harold' I spoke, as I sipped my wine.
'Yes, Miss Wilson' he responded, in a funny posh accent.
'We need to sort some things out' I spoke.
'Right?, I like you Miss Wilson, how do you feel about me?' He questioned.
'I have told you my feelings many times, but I think they may have changed, so I like you Harry, I really like you' I almost whispered, scared of the words coming out.
'So what are we then?' He questioned.
'Friends, I am rather old fashioned when it comes to romance, I believe we are on our first date, and if we decide to make a second one, we will be dating' I spoke, as my heart began to race.
'That sounds very exciting' he chuckled.
We made small talk and teased each other for about 10 minutes. Until suddenly a women and a young girl came over. I didn't have the slightest clue of what to do. I just looked at Harry.
'Hi, erm sorry to bother you but my daughter is a big fan, so I was wondering if she could get a picture with you?' The women spoke to Harry.
'Only if it is alright with my date' he replied and looked at me.
My heart skipped a beat. I started to panic. What the hell was I supposed to do. My answer got all muddled in my head.
'Of course' I squeaked, sounding far too high pitched.
'Shall I take the picture' I asked.
'If you don't mind' the mother replied.
I took the camera from the mother and snapped a picture of the daughter, her mother and Harry.
'There you go' I smiled.
'Thank you' the girl squeaked and hugged me.
'Oh' I spoke in shock.
'I am so sorry' the mother apologised.
'Oh no it's alright' I spoke and sat down as they walked away.
'I'm sorry' Harry apologised.
'Honestly it's alright, when I decided to go on this date with you I expected things like that to happen it honestly is quite cute how much they love you, I have no clue why' I teased.
'Take that back' he joked.
'Make me' I giggled.
'If we weren't in public I would' he spoke.
'Your very open and forward aren't you' I asked.
'I suppose, does that bother you' he responded.
'Not at this moment' I spoke.
I found myself just staring at him, watching his lips, they were so plump and pink, they way they curved into a perfect smile, which formed cute dimple in his cheeks, I had never realised but his smile made my world light up.
'Can I help you' I heard harry say, and I was snapped back into reality.
'Oh sorry, no' I mumbled, I felt very embarrassed.
'Oh, alright' he spoke.
'Sorry did I creep you out with my staring, I was just trying to figure you out' I spoke.
'Figure me out' he asked looking puzzled.
'I don't know, I was trying to come up with an answer' I laughed.
He smiled, making the embarrassment wash away from me. I realised that I wanted to know every little detail about this boy, what made him laugh, what made him cry, and just pointless things, that never seemed pointless to me.
