I reached Rose's house on time, for once. I am normally always late because I get far too distracted. I pulled my headphones out of my ears and turned my music off. I knocked on her door and two seconds later it swung open and there was Rose. We both squealed and hugged each other. We acted as if we hadn't seen each other or spoken to each other in years and really it hadn't been that long. Rose looked beautiful, she is beautiful. She had floral print shorts on although it was October and freezing outside she acted like it was the middle of summer, she matched them with a plain white t-shirt and a cute pale blue denim jacket. She had white pumps on and her bob was curled perfectly and she had a daisy hairband in it. She had light make up on just like me. She looked flawless; she could make a plastic bag look flawless. Unlike me who would look like a tit in a plastic bag, I have always been jealous of how she looks effortlessly stunning all the time.

'New shorts' I asked and she nodded.

I smiled back as we walked up to the tube. I hate the underground so much, it is stuffy and smelly and 9 times out of 10 you could never get a seat. Once we had our tickets another reason I hate the tube the stress and hassle of trying to get tickets was not worth it. We stood on the platform and waited for the underground to come.

'Anyone caught your eye at Uni?' I winked at her and she laughed.

'No, I haven't really been looking' she casually said.

'Sure, sure' I responded sarcastically.

'What are we going to do?' I asked changing the conversation.

'I thought we could get an outfit for the concert' she spoke and I nodded.

Great the one thing I wanted to forget about was this stupid concert and what is the one reason we are out right now, the stupid concert the sooner it is over the better. I had actually forgotten about the concert until she brought it up, finding an outfit was the least of my worries I would go in my pj's, but Rose and Ari would kill me. The tube finally arrived; me and Rose had a lot of catching up to do. I was right the tube was full, no seats. Good job we were only on it for a few stops. After we got off the tube we walked around the shops for a bit but there was only one shop that we would actually buy something from, Topshop. We had walked around for about 20 minutes and I still hadn't picked anything. If I had the money I would have bought the whole shop because I love Topshop, but nothing was catching my eye. Rose had nearly completed her outfit; she was planning it with military precision. She doesn't even plan her date outfits like this. Wow these tits must be very special to her and Ari. God. Finally something caught my eye a burgundy skirt with a black belt. I picked it up examining it. Next to it was a white short sleeved t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up slightly. I put the skirt on top of the t-shirt and placed it in front of my body.

'Hey, Rose what do you think?' I shouted across the racks.

She popped her head round.

'Ooo! That's really nice, get it' she grinned.

Unlike Rose I wasn't really too bothered about my outfit. On my way too the tills I spotted a cute owl necklace that would go well with my outfit so I picked it up and headed to the tills. After I paid, I found Rose and she paid for her stuff and we headed to Starbucks. I got a Caramel Frappacinno and she got a Vanilla Hot Chocolate and we headed to the tube.

'I have had a really nice day, see you at the concert' I called to Rose as I got off the tube at my stop.

I slurped what was left of my iced drink, dumped it into a bin and headed home.
