I woke up to warmth. It was a different type of warmth, though. Often times in the morning when I'd wake up, I would feel slightly comforted and warm; due to the comforters, of course. But it was different, I felt body temperature cast over mine. I gently opened my eyes, and then violently opening them ever so swiftly when I saw a familiar arm wrapped around my waist. I knew exactly who's it was, too.

Glancing behind myself, I saw that Vic was peacefully sleeping. I took time to notice how relaxed and calm he seemed when his eyes were closed. The creases in his forehead had diminished, and I saw the way his brown eyelashes fluttered against his copper skintone. He was beautiful, I thought to myself. But my feelings about him where very conflicted, I liked him...more than I thought, but was I really ready for a relationship? I wanted this a lot, despite whatever my conscious was trying to tell me.

Just then, I felt him falter behind me. He exhaled lowly, and then proceeded to hold me tighter. I smiled lightly, before shifting my position a bit and sitting up. I gently shook him, "Vic..." I whispered to him, before glancing around, to see if anyone was here. And to my surprise, the hotel room was left absent. I guess they all went out to breakfast, I thought after I checked my phone and saw that it was still around seven in the morning.

I shook him once more, "Vic!" I exclaimed, and almost in an instant he shot right up and had the most relaxed expression. His brunette hair that was usual down in waves, were messily thrown here and there. It was cute.

"Oh hey, Kellin," he spoke, his voice slightly laced with worry, "did we...?"

I laughed out loud, "oh god no.." I told him, "I guess sometime in the middle of the night either you or me crept to each other and somehow ended up in each other's arms."

He nodded, "oh I see."

It was silent a beat, until I sighed, "so I've been thinking about this whole thing, and...I want to give us a shot," I said to him, searching his face for any emotion. He looked up at me with his dark eyes and he gave me a genuine smile. It was a relief because I thought our flame for each other had burned out.

"Hope you know I'm very happy to hear that," he whispered to me, as he brought his lips to mine. It was a lazy but passionate kiss, and my stomach literally flipped as he got deeper into it. Vic brushed a strand of my hair beneath my ear and kissed my collarbone, before going back to my lips. I then smiled into the kiss, as I then pulled away. It was too many emotions and my cheeks began to burn and I buried my face into a pillow.

I heard him laugh, "I make you that nervous?"

"Shut up," I mumbled, before sitting back up and facing him, "plus I've got to shower," I spoke to him, getting up out of the bed.

"Wait," Vic called out from behind me, which caused myself to turn back around and give him a questioning gaze.

"Do you want to tell people about us?"

I pondered a moment, "up to you," I said, "I've already came out of the closet."

"I...I haven't," he spoke, "let's just keep it on the down low until I'm ready, okay?"

I walked over to Vic and smiled at him as I pecked his lips and sat on his lap,  "of course."
