"Where are we going?" I asked, as Vic stopped in the parking lot of the beach. I saw him smile in the darkness as he stopped the car and got out. Soon he came to my side, and opened the door for me.
I laughed, "What are you doing?" Then chuckled some more, "where's the hotel?"
He then shook his head, as he kept that stupid smile on his face as he helped me out of the rental car. I was using one crutch and limped a bit when I walked. Vic then Opened the trunk of the car and pulled out a dark purple blanket. We walked in silence, as he held my hand, and approaching the beach, the cold sand began to hit my toes. Vic then stopped waking, as he then sat down and motioned me to sit with him, too. I exhaled, as I shivered, due to the cold tropical winds hitting me, as I sat beside him.
"You're so cute," he said, as he wrapped he blanket around the both of us. I sat in between Vics legs and his arms were around me, and he smuggled into my neck, "don't deny it."
I smiled, my cheeks burning of embarrassment, "I am denying it, because it's true. End of story."
I felt him physically relax against me, although my heart was still beating so quick I couldn't even put into words how fast that it was going, "why do you lie to yourself? Why do you think that you're the lowest piece of shit on the earth, Kellin? Becuase you're not..."
I shook my head, "I'm afraid to tell you, it might be a turn-off."
"No," he said, "I want to know things about you, you know?"
I had to mentally prepare myself for what I was going to say, so I bit the inside of my cheeks, reaching my hand out to Vics and lacing our fingers like we always did, "...in ninth grade year of highschool, I met him. His name was Joshua Dun, and he was literally the love of my life. Dated up until twelfth grade, and in the middle of that year he confessed to me about how he basically was going out with me as a dare from his friends, and that everything he felt wasn't real and that he was just pretending. Then he dumped me for this guy Tyler who he was apparently already dating at the time anyway. So with you, I can't tell what's real and fake...I thought what I had with Josh was real, but if that was all a lie, how do I know you aren't faking with me right now?"
I felt Vics arms around me tighten as he kissed my cheek. The sounds of the waves clashing together made the night so beautiful, "a million waves in the ocean crash at once to make smile."
I scoffed, "you totally pulled that quote out of your ass."
He laughed, "maybe..." Vic started, "but it's true."
"Stop being so nice to me."
"What's your favorite color?"
"Stop switching the subject-"
"Mines green, it reminds me of your eyes when you're excited. They change color when your sad and happy, did you realize that?"
I smiled to myself at the thought of him remembering things about me, "you're so attractive," I said, "can you stop..."
Vic chuckled, "why?" He said, as he started to tickle me. I laughed as he tickled underneath my arms and my neck, "s-s-top!" I shouted in laughter, breaking away from him.
Vic bit his lip when he chuckled, as he tickled my thighs. I laughed at the feeling and shrieked away at his touch, "I...I can't breathe.." I spoke, almost out of breathe when his hands moved elsewhere. Then all of a sudden, I fell backwards into the sand in laughter, staring up at Vic. He looked so perfect, the wind was blowing in his coffee hair that stopped at his neck. I gazed at the way his copper skin shone in the night-like lighting that the beach gave off. I couldn't see his muscles through his sweater, but I then sat up, and for the first time, I kissed him. I started the kiss and I was trying to lead it. I wanted to show him how much I cared about him and what he was doing. What type of person listens to another persons struggles like that? We made out with each-other, feeling all over both of our bodies and making warmth. He kissed my neck and sucked on it, as he stroked my hair and I sighed passionately against his shoulder, as he went behind my ear. Vic grinded into me, and I did the same as we both found each other's lips again in an undying hunger of lust. Vic stroked the sides of my hips as I sat in his lap and but his lower lip slightly and it was a turn on as I heard a low moan escape his lips.
He pulled away quickly, "we can't have sex on the beach."
I laughed out loud, "I love how you just ignore the fact that I'm pregnant," I joked, sitting beside him.
Vic then chuckled, "yeah, I love you."
I blinked twice and turned to him, "what?" I asked in mild shock, I wasn't expecting that from him and I didn't know what to feel about those words, it's so unexpected and strange. He loved me.
"I mean, no I didn't-" his voice broke off, "it slipped out but- yeah..." He spoke, "I- uh, I love you." Vic scratched the back of his head hesitantly, as he gazed absently at the ocean again. I joined his gaze, taking in the beautiful dark waters and how they collided with one another, in the distance it almost looked as if they collided with the sky.
I smiled lightly, "it's red."
"What?" He sounded confused.
I chuckled slightly, leaning into his shoulder and I took his arm and put it around myself, "my favorite color; it's red. The color, it's so pretty but holds a lot of emotion and deepness, if you really look into it."
He then looked at me, "so it's you?"
"Yeah," I said softly, "I guess it is."
