I didn't see raven hair for three days and three nights after the whole 'dinner' at my house. Mainly for the fact that my dad had forbidden me to see him. After he left and I returned back into the house, he gave me a list of reasons as to why I couldn't see raven hair anymore. One them being the simple fact that he's a stranger.
So I adhered to his rule, staying in my room, only coming out when Cassidy basically dragged me out when she found out Calvin wanted to hang out with me by the lake. It was an interesting experience to say the least. I found out, but didn't realize, that Calvin was a show off. He loved attention and when it wasn't on him he'd do anything to redirect the attention so that it was.
It wasn't until the fourth day had come to an end and the fourth night was slowly creeping along did I see raven hair again. The way he literally popped back into my life was a little unorthodox.
I had just gotten out of the shower, towel wrapped tightly around my body, and as I closed the door I was attacked from behind. Just as I was about to let out a scream a hand came clamping down on my mouth, the cool metal of a ring pressed against the corner of my lips, and an arm snaked around my waist, tugging me towards my attacker.
My heart thumped heavily in my chest as my breathing became more shallow. The only thought that raced through my mind was 'not again'. Every self defense move that i've ever learned to get out of this situation flew into then air, leaving me a lost cause.
"Did you miss me?" The words he whispered into my ear didn't ease the panic coursing through my veins, causing me to shut my eyes tight as my spine goes rigid. The words echoed in my skull but in a different more slurred tone of voice.
It wasn't until raven hair realized the wet tears fall against his hand did he release me. He gripped me by my shoulders and turned my around.
"Hey, hey, why are you crying? I didn't mean to scare you." His thumbs were quick to swipe away my tears as I tried to stop the sobs escaping me as I sniffled. It was only then did I realize that I wasn't in any type of danger.
Despite the tears still flowing down my face I smack Alexander against the stomach. He let out a low groan as I walked away from his reach.
I grabbed my clothes off my bed and disappeared into my closet. In the small amount of space I had I managed to slip my t-shirt over my head and wiggle my boy shorts up onto my hips. Sadly the shirt was a bigger one and fell against my thighs.
When I emerged from my closet raven hair had looked up from his phone, a small smile grazing his pale face.
"What are you doing here?" At the time I was silently freaking out because my dad could walk in any moment and see him. But now as I recall the many, many, times we met up like this I wasn't as worried about the consequence of being caught all too much.
"You haven't been at the dinner and I got worried. I figure that I should at least check up on you princess." He raked his fingers through the strands of his hair, which was definitely longer than the last time. I didn't miss how the action caused his shirt to ride up revealing the detailed tattoo on his hip.
"You have my number." I remind him, stepping over to my dresser and grabbing a hair tie from off of it. I managed to swiftly, and quickly, tie my hair up into a ponytail.
"Yes, but where's the fun in that?" As I turn around I caught the ending motion of his eyes quickly flickering upwards from where they had settled someplace lower behind me.
This had tugged a frown on my face. "Well now that you've seen that i'm fine you can be on your merry way." I tried giving him a smile as I make my way to my bed but it was clear that it wasn't filled with merriment.
