"Ow, ow, ow." Austin whines as I tighten my grip on his ear, tugging him along. "Gentle!" He smacks me in the hip and I send him a glare, shoving him towards the door.
"I told you to not be so stupid!" I smack him upside the head, yelling at him softly. After barging into Cassidy's room my dad was too in shock to do anything. So I took matters into my own hands and grab Austin by his ear and tugged him out of her room.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think you guys would be up and about." He grunts, tugging his shirt over his head messing his hair up even more. He then pulls it over his torso once his arms are through the sleeves. "The house was completely silent when Cassidy brought me in."
"You know you might never see her again after this? My dad has caught you once before when you were sneaking out." I cross my arms over my chest and tug my lips into a frown. His face falls.
"We weren't going to do anything, I swear. I just came over to talk and we got a little carried away." I can see the truth behind his fearful eyes and I can't help but sigh.
"I'll try and convince him to not ban you from our house. It wont be easy, he caught you with you junk out." I run my fingers through my hair.
"It wasn't out." He scoffs.
"It might as well have been." I let out a tired yawn. "You should probably get going, wouldn't want him coming to yell at you." I reach around him and pull open the door. Austin nods his head, stepping back out of the threshold.
"I heard you went to go see Taylor today." His lips quirk up into a half smirk.
I roll my eyes, not bother to ask who he heard that from. "Goodnight Austin." I shut the door in his face. Locking it I turn on my heels and head towards my room.
"...please stop!" I hear Cassidy groan as I reach her room. I snicker as I push into mine and shut the door behind me.
Once secured behind my door I let out a sigh and strip out my clothes before pulling on the sweatpants again and crawling into bed. I snuggle beneath my blanket and close my eyes.
Sleep doesn't come too easy.

Tuesday morning I figure to leave my room and sit out in the living room with a bowl of cheerios. I find a new series on netflix to watch and snuggle against the couch.
Halfway through the first episode Blair comes to sit next to me. Without asking me she pushes pause on the remote and with her soft intake of breath I have a feeling I know what she's about to say to me.
"I know I should've asked you this repeatedly since the summer, but.." She trails off and I swirl my spoon inside of my bowl of now just milk. "Have you figured where you're going to go for college? If you hurry, you can still send in an application."
I let out a heavy sigh, looking up at her. "What if I told you that I don't see myself going to college?" Instead of having my knees pressed against me I shift my position so I can cross my legs. Her eyes widen slightly before she tries to give me an understanding look.
"Can I ask why?" I nearly shake my head but let out another soft sigh.
"I don't know." I shrug my shoulders. "It's just, the thought of going to school for another four years doesn't settle well with me. It's not that I don't like school, it's just having to go through it all again. I haven't really figured out what I wanted to do as of right now anyway." When I was younger I was dead set on having my drawings and paintings in galleries, showcases all over.
