"Why can't you focus on yourself while we're in a relationship?" Calvin finally looks at me, perfectly arched brow raised in curiosity. I had waited until we gotten parked in the school student parking lot to tell him that I was breaking up with him. When he asked why I told him that I need to work on myself.

Because I can't do that knowing that you're off stuffing your tongue in places it doesn't belong. I don't dare say this out loud. It's best he doesn't know that I know he's cheating because then he'll blame it on Austin.

"Because you'd take up too much of my attention." I lie, biting down on my lip.

"Me, take up too much of your time? I think it's you who takes up too much of your time. I've barely seen you at all this past week and a half and now you're breaking up with me when I finally do get some time with you."

"Just a prime example that shows that i'm not ready to be in a committed relationship." And neither are you.

"I think that you're lying, that there's something you're not telling me." His fingers tighten around the steering wheel.

"Please tell me what that is Calvin?" I cock my head to the side and arch my brow.

"It's Taylor isn't it." I nearly laugh at his accusation just to get rid of the small bits of pain that pricks at my chest.

"I haven't seen Taylor, way longer than I haven't seen you. I find it funny how even after I told you that me and Taylor are no longer friends you still think i'm cheating on you with him." I shake my head, nearly missing the words he's withholding in his eyes. He knew something but he isn't  going to reveal that information.

"Then why are you breaking up with me all of a sudden?" Calvin cocks his brow yet again.

I sigh. "I have a whole list of reasons."

"I have time." He leans against the steering wheel after turning to face me. My eyes catch Austin jogging around the passenger side of his car to open the door for Cassidy. I watch as she gracefully gets out of the car, and presents Austin with a kiss. My heart yearns for a moment like that, knowing it would never come while I am dating Calvin.

"Sadly I don't have time." I turn my attention briefly to Calvin before exiting the car. He doesn't seem the slightest bit heartbroken by my departure, nor does he try to stop me and I don't expect him too.

I head over to the lovely couple and Cassidy smiles upon seeing me. I don't even get a chance to come to a full stop before she pulls me into her arms.

"You just saw me fifteen minutes ago." I laugh, as her hold around me tightens.

"I know but I was worried." Cassidy pulls away but holds me at arms length. By the way her eyes flicker about my appearance I can tell she's searching for some type of sign that Calvin had hurt me. "Did you do it? Did you break up with him?"

I nod my head and the worried look on her face peters away. "I don't think he completely understands." I glance back at Calvin's car, which is no longer being occupied.

"I'm sure Calvin doesn't care." Austin snorts, pulling me beneath his other arm. "It's okay, there's enough Tex to go around." With a playful smile he places a swift kiss on top of my head.

"You better not be sharing any Tex with anybody but me!" Cassidy looks up at him with narrowed eyes and Austin laughs, dipping down to place a tender kiss upon her lips. Despite how much Cassidy tries to fight it her lips still curl upwards as Austin holds her captive in his kiss.
