10. Tinder
The most recent popular dating app. With over 50 million active users on Tinder, there's no denying people waste no time to download it and find their future lover in just a swipe.

Google has created a section specifically for viewing, managing and editing multimedia. Reports of increasing audience in Google+ makes it more popular than ever.

Want to do some DIY, and share it to your friends, well this app is perfect. Build for inspiring creations through pins and bookmarking, this site is one hell needed for your projects.
7. Whatsapp
The popular messaging app receives over 800 millions of people everyday and whopping 30 billion messages have been sent through its servers. Its popularity took off because it uses an internet connection to send messages instead of traditional cellular networks
6. Vine
A six second videos are uploaded in the app, shared to viewers and earned millions of likes and loops. The app also created celebrity users called Viners.
5. Tumblr
Quotes, Fandoms and aesthetics are so big in here. You can also share pictures, videos, text posts and chats. Diverse and fun. This app is a must.
4. Twitter
This is where news are breaking. You can find out what's happening around the world (basically pop culture or events) through the trending topics. Most trending topics are coming from fans. Even rumors can quickly spread in here like wildfire. A quick tweet, and you shared your 180 thought to the world.
3. Snapchat
The Breakthrough star of the year, the Snapchat. Story concepts and a great way to send pictures to your friends or family. Your friends can view snaps for up to 10 seconds, and then they disappear. Snapchat is mostly a hit among teenagers.
2. Instagram
My favorite app of all, the Insta. You could post any pictures in here and there's two ways to do it. Feed style and the normal one. The normal one is where you just post random pictures, the feed styles is where you post pictures based on the theme your doing like all white pictures or grunge pictures. But anyhow, Instagram is just a simple way to tell "This is my lunch".

Everything and anything, Facebook got it all. Photo and video sharing, unlimited text status, the iconic like and share button, groupchats, Friends, Pages, Hashtags, and games. It's like all social media packed in one. With over billions of users, without a doubt, Facebook is one successful social media.
