Hell of a creepy story, the Rake is strange, human-like creature which attracted a lot of attention from local media. After the story initially spread, most online and written documents were mysteriously destroyed. The Rake also causes some trauma to kids. Because of this, sightings and statements rose up which made the whole situation more creepy.
9. Normal Porn for Normal People
A porn website that features weird and unsettling videos, made the urban legend a popular demand. The website has a series of videos which go from bizarre to disgusting. Abused chimpanzee, obese clown, woman masturbating and a disarmed man, is quite weird enough for a pornsite. Many witness log into forums to discussed their experience on it.
8. 1999
Tbis story is one of the most realistic and chilling urban legends on the Internet. So I'll have to summarize it.
A Canadian blogger named Elliot tracks down the mysterious TV channel that he watched in the year 1999, due to curiosity. As he continued to investigate, he learned that the man running the channel was attempting to lure children into his house for sacrificial purposes. He then realized that the crazed man was torturing and killing children while wearing a bear costume and calling himself "Mr. Bear." The channel have several shows like "Booby", a mysterious hand puppet who stabbed a tiny hand using scissors and "Mr Bear's Cellar" who tortures children.
7. Smile Dog
An amateur writer visits the house of a lady who supposedly has a story for which he can borrow from. However, the lady has locked herself up in her room, crying and ranting about nightmares and various other problems. All of these center around a floppy disk she had been given that contain the image smile.jpg - which is smile.dog. Viewing this image incites insanity, and no copy of the exact image exists on the web though likenesses of it do. The true image of smile.jpg is recognized due to the effect it has on the viewer - that is, they wind up dead. Some say that the original legend began with an image of the devil.
6. SCP Foundation
Secure, Contain, Protect. That's what the mysterious SCP Foundation stands for. It houses multiple scientists and researchers who find abnormal creatures and objects, secure them and perform questionably moral tests on them. Some of the creatures eventually killed the workers in the are. Scary AF
5. Russian Sleep Experiment
Russian researchers in the late 1940s kept five people awake for fifteen days using an experimental gas based stimulant. The test subjects were political prisoners deemed enemies of the state during World War II. After five days they started to demonstrate severe paranoia, after nine days they started screaming and eventually died on the following days.
4. Squideward Suicide
The full story is told from the perspective of a person who interned at Nickelodeon Studios during 2005 as an animation student. The student a some other coworkers received a tape to edit titled "Squidward's Suicide," which they initially assumed was just an office prank. In the firsthand account, the video consists of Squidward forlornly sitting on a bed, while strange and upsetting noises play and become louder in the background. The scene is spliced with quick flashes of dead children and gore, each time the noises getting louder when cutting back to Squidward - his face shaded black with the red eyes as seen above. Eventually, Squidward shoots himself after a detached, deep voice commands it, and that is the end of the video.

This creepypasta relates the story of Jadusable, a college student who bought a hacked version of Majora's Mask at a garage sale. Integrating both text and video made this terrifying creepypasta all the more memorable and realistic. Adding the scary factor are videos, statements, and photos that is linked to the story
2. Slenderman
The Slender Man is an alleged paranormal figure purported to have been in existence for centuries, covering a large geographic area. His main intentions appear to be kidnapping children. It even inspired a game named before it.

Jeff was the little boy who carved a permanent smile into his cheeks and also managed to cut out his eyelids, so that he could never sleep. The story goes on as he defeat his attackers and killed his family with a knife and letting famous line "Mommy you lied". This is by far the most popular story in Creepypasta, inspiring fanarts, theories, and even merchandises.
