Wait.... Yep. I knew that.

10. Black Guy Dies

Most movies do that style and it's getting annoying. We want equality in here. We want them to survive OK? Whether the Black guy is an extra or the main cast they always die ahead of them. The same goes for Asians. Or any race filmmakers throw in to make their cast of characters more ethnically diverse.

9. Sex and Nudity equals Death

When there's a sex scene expect a monster coming out and killing them. And btw get a room. They always have sex on the scariest place like woods or dark lake, like obviously the killer is gonna know that because of the loud moaning y'all make.

8. Let's Split Up

Groups that split up in a movie because somehow its better to go one on one with a killer than fight as a group. Idiots.

7. Everyone is Stupid

The place is deserted and creepy? Let's go. The person is suspicious? Let's talk to him. Is that a gun? Yep better use the knife instead. Is the tree falling? Yeah, better stare on it and screm. That's why most characters die in this film. People have to make some pretty awful decisions that leads them to trouble.

6. The car won't start.

Don't bother driving a car into a horror film. It's not going to start. You're just wasting your time and the Killer is on the way. And when the car starts it either crash at villain or the reason for the characters death. Very well done.

5. Hard to escape and 100% death chance

When someone is trapped in someway, for example tied up on a chair and the killer is about torture the victim they always plead like You don't have to do this,or why are you doing this? Obviously he's a psycho. And I think he knows that he doesn't have to do this, he just wants to. Same as, girls always falling, no phone signal, and screaming instead of doing something.

4. Useless Authority

It's almost impossible to find a guy with a gun who both believes you and knows how to kick some ass. That's what horror genre is. When they call the cops, they don't believe on them. And sometimes when the police is around they are often killed or part of the bad guy's scheme

3. Music Stops and Jumpscare

That moment when the characters are hiding from the killer, and they decide to look around just to make sure and when they looked again... BAM! face to face encounter *cue music and scream. Same with the mirror appearances.

2. Female Character lives.

Because men always do the HERO thing. Where they act tough but got killed eventually. Women always do the thinking. Slutty ladies die and the virgin and kind always lives.

1. Villains don't die or hard to kill

Invincibility is never a good foundation for tension, and yet horror films rely on it to a great degree. For the most part, horror films either end with the killer killing everyone, or one or two survivors turning the tables and taking the killer out. Regardless of how violently they put him down, however, he will be back. They either don't die or hard to kill.
