It's particularly a symbol of strength and wisdom, as the lion, King of the Beasts, and the eagle, King of the Birds are combined. They're commonly found on European Flags.8. Fairies
In classical stories, they are often described as small humanoid with wings. Equally varied as light hearted and helpful or dark and evil. They avoid humans but sometimes make exception to small children. Popular modern fairies are fictional characters such as Tinkerbell, fairy godmother, and tooth fairy.
7. Zombie
Living Dead who feed on human flesh. Of all the creatures in the list, this is the only one who are believed to exist in time. A real life zombie may come to life whether in virus infection, voodoo rituals or psychotic syndrome. Hope not.

Dwarves are short, stalky, humanoid who live in underground mining communities or woodland houses.
They are mischievous and protectors of the woods. They also manage to play music through nature.5. Unicorn
Believed to exist but debunk, this creature is describe as a magical horse with horn on its forehead. The myth is all over the world. Like in India, where it said to begun. The Unicorns are no harmed to humans if not threatened.
4. Mermaid
Mythical sea creatures with a body and a head of a woman and the tail of a fish. Kind and benevolent to humans who protects the nature of the ocean. But sometimes they're the reasons for many shipwrecks. They hypnotize sailors through their voices and lure them to the seas only to be either drowned or eaten. Other tales suggest mermaids whether forgot or didn't understand humans could not breathe underwater, because they would pull them into the ocean and accidentally drowning them. Little Mermaid is a popular depiction for modern tale.
3. Werewolf
Human by day, wolf at night. There are three distinct creatures of werewolves. The Shape-shifter, which transform into a complete wolf form, The Wolfman, a combination of man and wolf which he can control, the last is The True werewolf, which humans are uncontrollably transforms into a wolf during full moon. They are driven to kill without knowing.
2. Dragon
A giant, flying, fire breathing lizard who often guards treasure or bring good luck. There are two types of dragons. The European dragon, the famous of all, a four legged lizard who protects treasures or town and The Asian dragon, a legless serpent which brings goodluck.
1. Vampire
The most popular monster of all. It spawned so many movies, TV series, and literature. There are literally thousands of vampire legends and myths, described as White pale human with fangs to bite for. From bloodsucking to undead hating the sun. It's one endless ride. Dracula is by far the well-known example of a vampire.
