"why maro?"

"its a short version of mashumaro in Japanese." Kai slurs as she covers her face with her comforter. "Turn off the light..." she whines, rolling herself with the blankets until she ran out.

"Hehe, okay burrito." he walked past the rolled burrito and pats its head "Anyways it was your fault that you stayed in the music room."she glares at him irritated, until she buries her head more deeper in the burrito cave, falling asleep.

Akio smiles, turning off the light and walked out of her room, holding the door behind his back. "Goodnight."

In response, she snores softly with a grin on her face, closing the door behind himself. He jogs down the stairs, pulling out a rag and cleans the surface of the kitchen counter. That was adorable.

A knock from the from door, got him out of his senses and looked up to see Alice holding 2 to go boxes in her hands. He drops his rag on the counter and unlocks the door for her, revealing a chilling gust of wind blow through the door. "Yo."

"Hey Akio." Alice said calmly, walking into the warm cafe. "I'm surprised your still up."

"Same here." he shuts the door locked and leans against a table with a bored face on his face. "So, what got you to come over here."

"I have two reasons." she shoves the to go box in front of his face ,"First, your brother ordered these muffins like around 3 am in the morning."

He cocks an eyebrow as he took the boxes and opens the first box to see 8 freshly baked muffins. 2 cinnamon, 2 blueberry, 2 banana mochi and 2 matcha Oreos all aligned with each flavor. He opened the box to see a wrapped mocha roll cake and a parchment bag filled with donuts holes filled with nutella. "Are you sure, the second order was my brother?"

"He told me to send him suggested cakes that he should try. He was really eager."

"Oh..." he closes the boxes again, placing it on the front counter.

She looked around the cafe covered in black and white, with pink white Sakura trees planted in miniature pots. It had a slight dark brown, high counter tables on the walls with rustic bar chairs pushed inside. There where scattered round cafe tables and chairs, empty with the scent of coffee beans roaming the room.

It was peaceful with the moody morning setting. It was just the right for this winter night.
