Sakura's parents have to do a Euope business trip, for who-knows-how-long and her parents planned her to move to Japan with her father's friend, Mr. Mao. She is unsure about the trip and was nervous to move into a different country. At first she...
"Your room's here," Mao said, opening a white door after giving Sakura a brief tour of the house. There was nothing, but a bed, a desk, a mirror, a clock, a closet, and a small bay window.
Sakura didn't mind since that was better than guessing what she liked and decorated the room with rainbows and unicorns.
"Be home by 10:00 at night," he said. "And I made a deal with your dad that I'll take you in as long you help at the cafe. Both your school uniform and cafe is in the closet." Mao opened a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket gave it to Sakura. She read it slowly since she was still a novice in the Japanese language, but it was pretty much her schedule.
"School is every weekday, so you need to work Tuesday, Thursdays, and weekdays," he stated.
"Do I get paid?"
"Paid?" he questioned in disbelief. "I'm providing food and housing for you."
"It was worth a try." she mumbled. He overhears, "If you work really hard, I would give you an acception. 500 yen each time I do give you a raise."
"Thank you very much-"
"If." he reminded her , making her pout. "You may unpack now." he released her and walked away from her door. She sighs in relief as she placed her luggage on her bed. How come dad didn't tell me anything about this. "TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES MS. KAEYI!!!" Mr. Mao yells in the hallways, causing chills to run up her spin "eee!"
