"Where is she!?" Mao spoke sternly, looking back at the clock in his office.
"You did say, she has to come back here at 10." reminded Akio.
"But it's her shift today, so why isn't she here?" he stared into Akios eyes filled with concern. The last time he saw her was in her room, now she isn't there. Did she ran off?
"I'll be back." he responded as he exited Mao's office and leaving the cafe with his bike. He had an idea what she is doing.
...
The night was cold and dark; only the street lights and shops could shine through the darkness. His breath would fog up as he breathed out each pedal. It was close to winter when she came, freezing and cold it was. Causing them to shiver to the bone.
He didn't care, he just needed to get where he needed to go.
He places his bike on the ramp as a violin echos in the school. His foot gets caught on the stairs causing him to almost fall, but her catches himself, holding onto the rails.
Akio stood behind the door where the noise came from, seeing a shadow dance around the room. He takes in a couple of breaths before he calmly slide open the door.
"Kai!" he breathes out. She stood in her spot, taking her final stroke of her bow. "What are you-"
She turns around with tears sparkling behind her beautiful gold-blue eyes, rivers stream down her cheeks trying to smile but it would always end up with a frown.
Akiro's navy blue eyes widen, astonished to see Sakura like this. She slouches her shoulders, drooping her violin and bow in her fingertips, trying to hide her tears away from him, but the tears didn't stop.
He raises his arms in the air for a hug, embracing her frigile self. Crying on his shoulders, he rubs her back.
She was touched by his solicitude. Taking in stuttering breaths hugging him back.
Man I'm so weak-
"It's okay Kai." he spoke in a calming voice. "That your crying at least. Everyone needs to cry once in awhile, especially when it comes to music. It's emotionally moving, you play passionately and you let it go." she felt him smile "I admire that."
"Hopefully, I'm on the right page...." Sakura wipes her tears and lightly giggles,"Your right on point-"
"If not, I'm sorry you had a bad day stay here. Maybe tomorrow, it will be better."
It wasn't even your fault and yet you manage to always take to words out of my mouth Akio Mao.
just speechless. just-
"I heard you play the piano the other day."
