Mao faintly grins as Kai and Akio continues their conversation.

"I took the yellow brick road." he said bluntly.

"What do you mean by 'I took the yellow brick road'? blah-blah, blah!" she mockingly said, sounding like a vampire.

"I don't sound like that?

Mr. Mao grins as he lightly knocks on the door. "Kai, it's time to go."

"But I can't go without-"

"Alice came over to pick you up."

"Oh..." She looks up at him with a faint smile and looks back at Akio. "You'll be okay Akio?"

He slightly nods and looks down to see their hands intertwined with each other.

Mr. Mao clears his throat bringing them back to reality before Kai stands up and slowly releases his hands as she left his room with Mr. Mao.

She jogs down the stairs to see Alice waiting with her, noticing her hold her ag in her hands with a smile on her smile. "Hi Kai."

"Hi, Alice."

"You ready to go?"

She nods before they left the shop and to the school.

This was her first time ever going to school without Akio. It was strange. Not, that, it was weird to be walking next to Alice. She was nice to Kai. Always so calm and collective.

She wished she could be like her, so people wouldn't see that she was freaking out.

"Uhhh, Sakura. Are you okay?" Alice looks over at Kai who was freaking out as they crossed the street.

"AHHH! CAR!!!"

"Sakura, calm down it's a red light."

"Look. Sakura. I think that your parents will be okay with that. It's not that, they'll take you away from something you truly are passionate about. " said Alfred, sitting on the top of his desk with a bento box in one hand and chopsticks in the other.

"Yeah, what he said, " added Alice, leaning on the desk her friend's desk. Alfred holds his pair of chopsticks with a hot dog octopus at the end of it about to place it in his mouth, until Alice slaps the back of his neck causing him to drop his octopus shaped hotdog.

Sadness flows though him, making Alice notice and look where he was looking at. "Oh, sorry," she said bluntly, picking up his octopus that is now covered in dust and hair. She tries blowing the dust off and tries handing it to him, but he slaps it out of her hand.

Kai sighs in a sad tone, sitting on the window sill as a cool rush of wind blows against her face.

She wasn't really herself, it's more like a shift in her mood. Her friends could feel it too, but after a talk they just had, she'll be getting into dangerous thoughts. The school bells ring and she picks up her lunch, then walks away; with both of her friends frowning as she left the room.

She steps into class, and sits next to the window, attempting to make herself smile, but fails her attempt. Kai felt like she was tied to anchor today and that she is drowning more deeper into her thoughts. Kai turns her back towards the open window as she tries to relax until:

A pair of arms wraps around her loosely, causing to startle her as it covers over her mouth and pulls her backward out of the window. Her muffled screams were heard as she laid outside the building. Kai laid down beside a couple of bushes as she felt the soft grass beneath her. "Ohaiyo. . ." Spoke a tired familiar voice.

The figure releases his hand from her mouth, allowing her to turn around, causing her mood lighten up. "A-Akio, what are you doing here?!" she places her hand over his hot neck "You're still sick!"

"It doesn't matter." he croaked "I wanted to see you."

Her heart started to race once those words left his mouth, she smiles widely as they both made eye contact until a ringing of a bell echoed throughout the building. "Shoot, I'm late..." Kai mumbled, looking up at what used to be an open window, but they both watch it close shut by a student. "Now, I can't get back."

Akio stands up with a thoughtful look on his face until a light turned on. "Come ditch with me!" He said in a happy tone.

Kai has never ditched school in her life, ever. But something or someone in her conscience convinced her. "Let's do it!"

Akio grabs her by her hand and they both ran away from school. Her hair danced in the air as their breaths came out foggy, laughing and giggling as they made their way to Akihabara.
