Tailgate went soaring through the air when Ratchet's M.A.R.B.S. had exploded. The small Autobot was riding with the medic when they got shot down, Ratchet being the most unlucky of the pair as he tumbled to the ground and vanished from sight.
After Hina cried out to the medic, she looked up to the sky to see Tailgate soaring through the air. He was going down at a downward, diagonal angle, and if someone didn't do something, Tailgate could crash and possibly get killed!
"Rodimus, I need some help here, Tailgate is coming down fast!" Hina yelled over the engine of the hover vehicle.
"I'll lend a servo!" He shouted back.
Removing one hand from the steering mechanism, the young Prime grasped Hina's right servo as the femme took a step forward and stretched her arm around, reaching out as far as she could. Seeing Tailgate free falling was scary enough, but the fact that there was a Decepticon army behind them, led by Lockdown, just made the situation even more terrifying.
"Tailgate, grab on!" She screamed.
The mech just caught Hina's servo right in the nick of time. If his servo was just one more inch away from her, he would have been most likely long gone by now. With all of her might, she reeled the mech towards her, planting him next to her on the M.A.R.B.S.
"Ratchet isn't behind us!" He shouted. "I said Ratchet isn't behind us!"
The Prime followed the others towards a mountain, flying through a tunnel.
"Maybe not, but fifty angry Decepticons are, and we can't rescue Ratchet if we're dead," Rodimus stated. "We hide, we take stock,re-establish contact with the Lost Light, and then we launch an epic counter attack. It's called a plan, and the secret of a good plan is to keep one step--"
Once the group reached the other side of the tunnel, and came into contact with sun light again, there appeared to be some kind of abandoned city. There were tall buildings as far as the optic could see. Broken metal, structures, and squinting her optics, Hina could have sworn she saw...
"Are those... heads?!"
"Those are Titans. Massive, super-powered Cybertronians." Rodimus answered.
Titans... Now she remembered! She recalled reading stories and data-logs about them one day when Drift and Optimus took her to the Iacon Hall of Records. It was said that the Titans carted the Knights of Cybertron across the galaxy. Although from what Hina was witnessing now, this place was nothing more than a Titan graveyard.
The faint sound of blaster fire could be heard from behind, as Hina turned her helm to see Lockdown and the rest of his Decepticon army quickly gaining on the Autobots.
"They're coming!" She yelped.
Rodimus scanned the area frantically, eyeing the nearest Titan head and pointing it out towards the group. "Everyone, go over there!"
"We're going to fly INSIDE them?!" Tailgate screamed with fear.
"They're massive, complicated, and there's no way we'll be followed. We just need to find a way in, like a crater or something." said Rodimus.
"We're going to fly inside the corpses of our ancestors?!" Tailgate repeated more dramatically.
"Tailgate, you realize that whenever try to sound awestruck you actually sound critical and incredulous." Rodimus commented.
"Save the wise cracks for when we actually ditch these guys," Hina spoke up, taking another look behind them before whipping her helm back to face the two mechs. "If you're going to do something Rodimus, now might be the time!"
