Fortress Maximus stood there, taking steady but quick breaths. His servos were balled in fists. It had been awhile since he got his hands on any Decepticons. Ratchet was the one to call him down, patting him on the shoulder in the process.
"I think that's enough. Honestly," Ratchet said. "I think that's plenty."
Hina's mouth was gaped open. She just stood there as she watched Fortress Maximus tear those two Decepticons apart.
Every move he made, every scream they made, Hina flinched and twitched, her expression changing on her face plate.
When it was over, Hina couldn't stop looking over in utter shock.
Maximus vented, scanning the scene. "Yeah.... Yeah, you're right."
"... Whoa." Hina whispered.
It was really all she could say.
"You're injured Pharma," First Aid said as he tried to help the medic up. "C'mere. Let me take a look at you."
"Don't--" Pharma yelped, slapping his hand away. "--I'm fine." He assured as he pushed himself up from the floor.
With a gasp, Hina escaped her Fort Max trance and raced over to Drift who rested on one of the medical beds.
She stopped her hands from touching him as they shook with horror. Oh how she wanted so badly to show her support.
"...Drift?"
Ratchet ran over, taking the samurai's hands for her.
"This takes me way back. All the way to Rodion-- when you desperately saved me." Drift began.
Hina glanced between him and the medic, marvelled at his words. Until...
"However--UGH!" He coughed violently. "-- I'm predicting a different outcome for this round."
"Shut up," Ratchet ordered. "You're not going to die."
"Y-yeah? Prove it." Drift replied.
"... Because I need you. And you need me... You have something to fight for." Hina stated slowly. "So fight it."
Drift chuckled gently. "I knew there was a reason I took a liking to you."
Ambulon was looking back at them, grinning. His vision then adverted to Fortress Maximus as he removed the severed Decepticon head from his hubspace.
"Hold still." He said. "I'm just going to carefully--"
"--Not move another inch," Pharma said darkly, holding a gun to his head.
Hina gasped, turning over as she spotted the predicament. "What the?!"
"Oh, you must be joking!" Ambulon scowled with annoyance, raising his hands in the air.
"Pharma? What are you doing?!" Ratchet asked.
"Those two Decepticons? Ambulon was the one to release them. He's to blame for the virus too. I'm sure of it." Pharma said. "He use to be a Decepticon, you know. Ten years ago he switched sides. Said he went AWOL to avoid being part of some prototype combining team. Except it was all a ruse. A way to infiltrate our ranks!"
"Ambulon... is that true?" Hina asked.
Ambulon shook his head. "Of course not. I was a Decepticon. Pharma, listen to me. I'm not a Decepticon anymore."
"Then why aren't you infected?" Pharma asked sharply as Hina glanced over behind her to see First Aid picking up something from the floor. It was a round orb like object with a black paint job and orange rims.
