It was late the next morning when Hina woke up. Swerve gave her the morning off after she told her Delphi tale.

Drift, despite his earlier protests, was out like a light in the middle of a hot summer day. He seemed to be thinking about something in his recharge cycle, optic ridges furrowed as he snuggled his favorite pillow, more commonly known as Hina.

In fact, she found it practically impossible to move because she was so close to him. As if he knew that she was awake, and might possibly leave, Drift pulled her so close, she might have suffocated if she truly needed oxygen. And if she wasn't mistaken, Drift sounded like he was PURRING...

Which in fact, the cybertronian was indeed doing. His processor was light-years away, and Hina and him were spending time together, alone, back on Cybertron, where there were no worries, no dangers, no fears, and no problems. Everything was perfect, even if they were alone, in the middle of what could've been a cleaned up version of the Sea of Rust... with the planet's faraway sun just over the horizon.

Hina couldn't help but smile cheaply at the sleeping mech. He must have been thinking about what she told him back on Delphi. That he needed her and that she needed him. Or, he could be thinking about the fact that the two of them had shared their first, actual kiss since her transformation into a Cybertronian a few months ago.

She took a quick glance out the window from where she lay in the habitation suite. She still couldn't get over the fact that she was riding in a giant space ship, going on intergalactic adventures with the Autobots. First a Sparkeater, then Delphi.

What could be next?

Finally she turned her helm back towards the face of the robot samurai. She smiled again, lowering a voice to a whisper. "Hey Drift? Driiiiift? Time to start the day."

When she noticed him stirring a bit, she couldn't help herself from giggling at the sight. Drift was really starting to act so, well, adorable.

Unexpectedly, he somehow tugged her closer, and nuzzled her neck fondly. "No," he said tiredly, kissing her cheek with no remorse. "It's nice here."

He was being incredible immature, but he was doing the strange purring thing again, and not letting her go. Unfortunately for Hina, he was stronger than she was, even when he was inexplicably tired. Which meant that he might stay there for the entire orn, snuggling her to his spark's content."

Which, honestly, she didn't mind doing if she didn't care about Drift's reputation amongst the crew, with Rodimus, and Ultra Magnus, her job, and their relationship being exposed to others rather than Whirl. Just the thought of the mech made her want to hide behind Drift forever and never show her faceplate again, even if it wasn't an option to be honest.

"It's not that bad... We slept all morning. I just have to work the afternoon shift and I'll be back." She assured him, although she still couldn't stop herself from smiling as she kissed him back. "I promise you...

Have I ever lied to you?"

He didn't move, didn't make a single sound.

So, in turn, Hina tried to make her move, gently taking Drifts hands, and moving them to the side. Once they were down, she flinched as she waited for him to react.
