Part 2 Chapter 1

Ashlyn and Clint were in a jeep, both of them taking down the bad guys. "Strucker has some pretty bad ass defense, the scepter has to be here." Clint nodded and Ashlyn used her powers to blow up an Bunker, "Oh big man needs help." She disappeared from the car and Clint shook his head when he saw her reappear on top of a tower with Thor right beside her, "At long last.", Ashlyn chuckled and sent the tower down, crashing hard and killing the surrounding soldiers but more came in and Thor picked up on of the metal pieces and began hitting them with it. "Well that's effective." Thor chuckled, "Shit!", Ashlyn jumped at the sudden language in her ear and before she could stop herself, her and Steve both shot out, "Language." Thor looked at her, "I spend way too much time with our boss." He laughed, "Long last is lasting a little long guys." Ashlyn nodded, "Stark, go ahead and get in there. Steve head up." Stark and Steve agreed with her but Tony rolled his lips, "Anyone else going to gonna deal with the fact that Ash said language, has well has cap?" They both sighed, "It just slipped out." The next words over the ear comm stopped Ashlyn in her tracks beside Thor, "Clint's been hit. We're going to need evac, someone want to deal with that bunker." Ashlyn heard the roar of the Hulk, "Thank you." Thor looked at her, "Go." He flew off and Ashlyn started dealing with the soldiers when she heard footsteps, hurried, Ashlyn turned her head slightly and shot a red energy ball ahead of where the footsteps were and smirked when she heard a grunt. She turned, "You're the enhanced?" The boy looked up at her, "You're an avenger?", she glared, and picked him up, "You cost my husband his health." He smirked, "Oh poor Ashlyn." She growled, "Shut it Pietro." He looked over her, and quickly hit her back and sent her flying, and he was gone. "Enhanced in the field, it's a blur." Ashlyn sighed, "Nat, time for a lullaby." Ashlyn turned and looked around, Clint better be okay. Steve walked by, "Wanna come with?", she nodded, "Yeah, I really want to beat this bastard. He shot my husband." Stark sighed, "Watch the language.", both Steve and Ashlyn looked down, "That's not going away anytime soon is it?", they jogged off and infiltrated Strucker's base.

"Strucker, Hydras number one thug.", he chuckled, "Technically, I'm a thug for S.H.I.E.L.D." Ashlyn glared at him, "Well then technically you're out of a job.", he looked at the two, "I know when I'm beat." She raised an eyebrow and went to say something but both her and Steve were sent down the stairs by an unseen force, they stood up and looked toward a door, where Wanda Maximoff had disappeared, "Second enhanced, female, do not engage." Strucker looked at the two, "You've got to be faster than-", Ashlyn stomped on Steve's shield, which had been dropped during their fall, and roundhouse kicked it making contact with Strucker's head, "Was that fast enough for you?", Steve looked at her, "Sorry, I'm on edge. Clint's hurt and I'm not with him." He nodded at her, "Come on." The two walked out and quickly made their way to the QuinJet. Ashlyn instantly was by Clint's side her eyes running over all his body, "I'm so sorry I left you alone." He looked at her, "Hey, it's part of the job." She smiled, "I have a new job though, I'm your wife." She put her hand in his and Steve smiled at the two, Natasha was sitting by Bruce has he was calming down, and Thor was standing in the corner with his arms over his chest. Tony flew in with the scepter and everyone smiled, finally they got it back.

Ashlyn sat with Clint until he fell asleep and she walked over to Bruce, "Thank you." He looked at her with a look of confusion, "If it wasn't for you my husband would just be a fond memory.", he smiled at her and she gave a smile back, Clint turned on the bed and her vision quickly went to his body, Natasha walked over and Ashlyn gave her a smirk and a wink. "I'll talk to you two later." Ashlyn sat by Clint and Steve walked by, putting a hand on her shoulder, and she gave him a smile.

Ashlyn was sitting with Tony in his lab, "How are things with you and Barton?", she smiled and looked at him, "You are such an observant person." He looked at her and then looked over her making sure she wasn't pregnant, then his eyes fell on the ring. "He proposed?", she nodded, "When?", she smiled and looked at her ring, "Four months ago." He looked at her, "Who is walking you down the aisle?", she gave a sigh and then looked at him, "I was thinking about asking you.", he looked at her, "What? Why?", she gave him a smile, "You're my best friend, you've had my back since I can remember, you helped me meet Clint, and ,Tony, because I want you to." He smiled, "It would be an honor." She smiled, "Nat is my maid of honor, Maria and Pepper are my bridesmaids. I don't know very many girls other than S.H.I.E.L.D agents and I only like those two." Tony laughed, "Barton have anyone picked?" She nodded, "We are sticking to agents, S.H.I.E.L.D is our family. It's going to be a small wedding. I think he was thinking of Steve has his best man, Bruce and maybe Thor has groomsmen. That is if we can get the Asgardian here." Tony nodded, "Colors?", she smiled, "Obviously black and purple." He looked at her, "His suit has purple detailing." He looked at her, "Purple and Red." She chuckled, "Yeah, but they don't go together. Therefore Black, Purple, and maybe gray." He nodded, "That's good." She smiled, "I have to find dresses for the girls, Pepper has been a big help. She helped me pick my dress and only the girls know. Clint got his suit already, Steve and Bruce has well. It's harder for the Bride." Tony smiled, "It doesn't have to be. It's your wedding, your day. Make it how you want it." She smiled, "I know dad." He chuckled, and gave her a head rub and she shook her head. "I've got to go and work on something with Steve. I'll see ya later." She grabbed her things and ran out.
