It had been awhile since the Barton family had been a part of Shield, well the Avengers. In fact, the twins were over a year old. Sokovia was in their past, the fighting started and stopped during that mission, and Ashlyn couldn't be happier. Well, that is a lie. She missed the thrill of missions, and she knew Clint did as well. Maria, Phil, or Daisy would come often to give the parents a break from the twins and they were pleased. On those days the pair would sneak to the backside of the property a spar. It was a release for the pair. The Avengers teammates would drop in every once in a while and Wanda and Steve would bicker over who got to play with Wanda and Natasha and Tony would stare each other down until one backed away for Nathaniel's attention. It was amusing to the parents, but they missed their friends. Ashlyn would corner Natasha to tell her about the missions, any luck on Bruce's location, and if they had heard from Thor, while she and Wanda played with their abilities outside. Tony and Steve would cut wood for then and Vision, Sam, and Rhodey would fly around and fix the fences. The need for going back to work filled greatly one day when Steve, Natasha, Wanda, Pietro, and Sam were visiting and called on a mission while being at the Barton farm. The four left and the Bartons sighed and sank back on the couch. "Do you miss it as much as I do?", Ashlyn nodded and rested her head on Clint's shoulder, "Lisa would come watch them for a few days if we really wanted to go." Clint glanced at her and she looked up at him, "Crazy Lisa? No, she isn't watching our kids.", she rolled her eyes, "She isn't crazy, good god, but if you don't want her to stay with the kids for a few days then we can as dad or Maria, maybe even Nick. He has been staying out of the shadows. I can call him.", he looked at her and she offered a smile, "Just not Daisy, she gets a bit crazy with the kids.", she laughed and Clint grabbed her up, laying on the couch. She was rested on his chest and they were looking at each other when her phone rang, she farrowed her eyebrows and answered. "Steve, hi.", his next words sat her up and Clint looked at her, "What do you mean? No, I know. Are you sure? I just, really?", her eyebrows were farrowed and she tilted her head, "Yeah, I can help. Yeah. It's fine. It will only be a few days. Yeah, I still have all my stuff. Yeah. He'll be fine with the twins. Totally. Yeah.", she stood up and went to their room, Clint following. She turned on the tv and Clint watched as she grabbed her Phoenix outfit and her weapons. She set the phone down and changed quickly. "I will be there in an hour.", Steve hung up and she grabbed her batons, "You're going to Vienna?", she looked at him, "Bucky needs help and I know what it's like to not be in control of yourself. Besides, there is something bigger going on. In a few days, Steve will need you as well. I know it. Call Dad, tell him we need him to babysit for a while.", he nodded and she gave him a kiss. She was going to help Steve and Sam and Bucky. She ran outside and got into the barn uncovering the helicopter. She climbed in a started it up, pressing a button that opened the roof. She smiled and waved at Clint and the twins before flying and rushing to get to Steve's side.
She walked into the building the group was staying in for the accords signing and Tony glanced at her, "You've come to sign?", she shook her head, "Absolutely not. The world needs the avengers to have free reign, if Aliens pop up in New York and Hydra in New Mexico, I am going to go to the Aliens while the government will want us to go to Hydra. Free reign and free will does not mean free of consequences. We need to better the funding so we can properly compensate for damages and loses caused by the appearance of the Avengers.", she smiled, "I did come to drop off a gift though, Wanda rode a horse for the first time and I made copies for everyone. I know I could have text them out but I thought you guys would like physical copies." Tony nodded and she smiled, "They missed seeing you the other day. Nathaniel asked where Uncle Tony was while he played with Aunt Wanda and Uncle Pietro. You should come see them soon, get your mind off of things." He nodded and she hugged him. She walked around until she found Steve and Sam, "I promised not to tell, but I know where Buck has been for the last few months.", they stared at her and she gave a soft smile, "Sorry. I made a promise." They nodded and she glanced at them, "Suit up, Bucky will need Captain America, Falcon, and Phoenix more than he needs Sam, Steve, and Ashlyn.", they nodder and walked out, time to save James Barnes from Hydra.
I'm back! It has been a super long time and for that I am sorry, I am 5 weeks out of completing my first full year of college and let me tell you something, I love it a lot. It has been an experience. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity of college and thankful for all of my new friends. I have grown as a person and I will try to make this third part as good as I can. I might not get chapters out as quickly as I would like and for that I apologize, this part will probably be the shortest part as well, but I know you guys understand. I can't wait to finish this book completely after these next few chapters and I hope you guys are pleased with it. I am thankful for your support with this story and I thought I should let you know that I will be taking down Being Stark's Sister and Together Again soon. I hope life has been treating you all well and I want to know how your year has been like thus far in the comments. I will be replying you as soon as I can and I wonder if you all could suggest a story for me to read. It does not have to be a Marvel Story nor does it have to be completely finished. I read mainly fanfictions and I am a sucker for superheroes, CW shows, Teen Wolf, and TWD. So if you have an suggestion for me to read, hmu.
