Part 2 The End

Clint and Ashlyn sat in their separate rooms. Ashlyn and Clint both had their heads between their hands. Natasha sat outside Clint's room and Steve outside Ashlyn's, hearing their best friends sobs growing. Natasha and Steve stood up and marched to the detention level, "We have to fix this. It's killing them.", Steve nodded, "What's the plan?", Natasha smirked and grabbed a flash drive, "We show them their wedding and the memories before it." Steve smirked and Natasha ran to the bridge, hacking Nick's computer and placing the flash drive into the port and hacking into Clint and Ashlyn's rooms, then she hit play.

Ashlyn and Clint looked up has a video started, and more tears filled their eyes. It was about 10 minutes before they stood up and ran from their rooms and Natasha smirked and pulled up the news feed of the camera where the two would meet in the hallway, the two stopped at the ends of the hallways and soon Ashlyn ran toward Clint and jumped into his arms, her legs wrapped around his waist, his wrapped around her back. "I'm so sorry Baby, I'm so sorry." Clint smiled and Ashlyn was crying, "No, Ashlyn, I'm sorry." She leant back and kissed him, "Call me Ash." He smiled, "How about Mrs. Barton." She nodded and the two kissed again.

The Helicarrier had landed and everyone but Clint and Ashlyn had walked out, they turned waiting to see if it was a fight or if the two ignored each other, no one but Steve and Nat knew what had happened. The group smiled when they walked out holding hands, Ashlyn on the phone, "Yes, I'm sure. I want to take my baby off the adoption list, my name it's Ashlyn, Ashlyn Barton." She smiled, "Thank you.", and the group cheered making Ashlyn blush and hide behind Clint. "Thank god that's over." They walked into the headquarter building and Ashlyn was handed a stack of files but Steve took it, "I got it for you Ash." She smiled, "Thank you, Steve." He nodded and walked off but Maria handed her a file, "This one is only for you." Ashlyn nodded, "I'll look at it has soon has I can." Maria nodded and smiled at the closeness of Ashlyn and Clint and their intertwined hands. She nodded, "Just don't take to long." Ashlyn nodded, "Alright." Tony, Thor, and Steve walked away while Maria lead Sam, Rhodey, Vision, and the twins to their rooms and then to the training area. "Should we go talk to Nick?", Ashlyn glanced at Clint, "Yeah." He smiled at her, "Let's go." They stopped when they heard a voice, "Actually, Nick is coming to you two. Did you open the file?", Ashlyn shook her head, "No, but we wanted to talk about-", Nick nodded, "Retirement, I know." They smiled and Clint grabbed the file, "Holy shit." Ashlyn glanced at him and it was Ashlyn's new file.

Ashlyn looked at Nick, "Why does this say Phil is alive? I went to his funeral." Nick sighed, "It was motivation." She rolled her lips and looked down, "He missed my wedding. He could've walked me down the aisle." Nick nodded, "Yes, and that's why he made me tell you that he is alive. He also said that I was to accept your resignation and Clint's no questions asked and give you both full retirement." Ashlyn nodded, "Where is he?", Nick sighed, "He was assigned his own team, it's a mobile strike and covert team." She nodded, "Who's all on it?", Nick sighed, "Classified." Ashlyn nodded, "Well then, I guess you can put deceased by his name. He isn't able to be in my life or his grandchild's." She handed him the file and Clint grabbed her hand and pulled her into his side, "Don't call us for like a year or two. We have a family to raise." Nick nodded and watched has they walked away. He sighed and called Phil, "She didn't react well." Phil sighed, "I didn't think she would. Where is she headed?", Nick coughed, "A safe place, her and Barton both." Phil nodded, "Classified?", Nick frowned, "Not filed." Phil coughed slightly, "Just, keep me posted." Nick nodded, "She's close to two months pregnant, Clint and her both turned in their retirement. Told me not to call for a year or two.", Nick sighed, "Goodbye Fury, you best have Maria keep me posted." He hung up.

Ashlyn smiled has she held Nathaniel Pietro Barton and Wanda Natalia Barton in a video and sent it to Nat, and she smiled. "Hey Pietro! Come here!", the boy hurried over and smiled, "Why would they do that?", Natasha smiled, "If it hadn't of been for Ash's sudden appearance you would have died saving her husband and that little boy. She thinks highly of you and Wanda. Wanda, come here!", the girl appeared and a smile broke on her face, "She named her daughter after me and you. Her son after my brother. She is a wonderful person." Natasha nodded, "One of the best." They smiled at the video and the group walked over, "We should go visit." Natasha smirked, "I know the way.", with that the group loaded into a QuinJet and left. Nick shaking his head along with Maria, "They got the video of the twins." They smiled and didn't say anything about the disappearance of their heroes.

Ashlyn smiled has she rocked Wanda back and forth and hummed to her baby girl. Clint walked into the room, "Hey, she asleep?", Wanda cooed and Clint smiled, "I'll take that has a no, we have visitors and they want to see the twins." She farrowed her eyebrows and nodded, "Alright." He smiled and held Nathaniel in his arms and the two walked downstairs, Ashlyn smiling, "Hey you guys.", she looked at her house, "I am so sorry for the mess." They shook their heads, "You have two three month olds, we get it." She smiled, "Steve." Wanda and Natasha walked over to Ashlyn, "Can we hold Wanda Natalia?" She smiled, "Of course.", she handed Wanda her baby girl and Clint let Pietro hold Nathaniel, "You guys didn't have to come all the way out here." Tony smirked, "It's been 10 months, and I have someone who wants to see you." She farrowed her eyebrows they parted to reveal Phil Coulson, "Dad?", the avengers farrowed their eyebrows, "Dad?", she ran and hugged him, "Nick told me that you weren't able to leave." He smiled, "Nick tends to lie for me." Steve scoffed, "No shit.", Ashlyn flipped her head toward him, "Language Steven! There's children!", the group laughed and Steve shook his head, "Ten months and it's still alive." She smiled and went into the kitchen, "I need to fix a bigger dinner." Clint smiled at her and she smiled at him. This was their happy family, all that's missing is Thor, Bruce, Nick, and Maria. A light flashed outside and Ashlyn tilted her head and heard footsteps on the porch, "Hello Barton family!", she laughed, "Thor!", she hugged him quickly, and then Clint smirked, "Nick, Maria. Welcome to our home." She smiled, "I'm glad we got that bigger table babe." She then turned and went into the kitchen preparing a meal for 12 people, Clint looking at her with a smile the entire time and everyone smiling at the family.
