Ashlyn, Steve, and the twins walked in. Ashlyn was up front, "I'm only going to say this once-", Tony looked at her, "About about nonce." She glared, "Shut it down." Tony looked at her and Steve and Pietro rushed around unplugging the everything. Tony and Bruce started rushing, "You've played with stuff you didn't understand once and it bit you in the ass, you're really going to do it again?", Steve looked at Ashlyn and noticed the rage and betrayal in her eyes, "And really Bruce! There is one massive evil out there, we don't need another one." He looked down, "What the hell are you guilting him for?", she glared and a gunshot filled her ears and the glass beneath Pietro broke, and he fell. Clint smirked at the young boy, "What you didn't see that coming?", Ashlyn rolled her eyes, "I'm surrounded by idiots." Wanda sent her a look and Thor jumped in and hit the cradle with lightning. Ashlyn took cover has stuff sparked and Wanda moved near her, "Are you and the baby okay?", Ashlyn nodded while a red and grey man stepped from the cradle. He looked around and a cape covered his body before he attacked Thor. Ashlyn stepped forward with her red energy swirling in her palms. "I'm sorry, that was odd." Ashlyn was staring at him and she was trying to read him but she couldn't, she felt a presence behind her and knew it to be Clint. He put his arm around her, "I'll protect you.", she smiled, "I know." Steve watched has Wanda stepped closer to the couple along with Pietro and Bruce. "I looked in your mind and saw annihilation.", the thing looked at her, "Look again." Ashlyn stepped forward but Clint grabbed her arm, she shrugged him off, and Wanda stepped forward with her, "Like her reassurance will matter." Ashlyn turned back, "What about mine?", Clint and Steve looked at her and the thing turned his head toward her, "Congratulations." She farrowed her eyebrows and stepped forward, "They think you are a child of Ultron?", the man looked at her, "And what do you think?", she stood in front of him, "You are something new." Steve scoffed, "I've had my fill of new." She glared at him, "New is good." She looked into his head, "Vision, that's what we can call you. You are for life and Ultron is against it. So you will side with us, though Ultron interest you and you wish to save him. You know he must be stopped for his plan will kill the world and life." He looked at her, "Even new life." She placed her left hand on her stomach, "Yes." Clint's eyes widened, "What new life?", she glanced down, "We can talk later, first we need to find Ultron." Clint looked at her, "He is in Sokovia, with Nat. What new life Ashlyn?", she flinched slightly, "What's he waiting for?", Vision looked at her and sent her a small apologetic smile, "You." She nodded, "We don't have a lot time." Vision nodded and picked up Thor's hammer and handed it to the blonde God, Ashlyn's eyes widened. Everyone stood in silence, "Well, alright then." Ashlyn walked out and Wanda, Pietro, and Clint quickly followed her. Ashlyn lead the two twins into a room she had prepared for them, "I'd figured you two would join. Welcome, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch." They smiled at her, "Thank you Red Bird." She smiled, "Call me Ash, I'm not Red Bird anymore." They nodded and she walked out and went to go straight when Clint pulled her into a room and trapped her between himself and a wall. "What was Vision talking about.", she looked up at him and swallowed the lump in her throat, "Clint, we don't have the time, we have to go save Nat and Sokovia." He looked at her, "We have the damn time, you're already in uniform and so am I. The twins, Tony, and Steve have to suit up." She glanced down, "Clint-", he glared, "What the hell is going on Ashlyn?", she looked at him, "You haven't call me my first name in a long time." He chuckled, "That's because you haven't had me this agitated in a long time." She rolled her lips, "For that I am truly sorry, but Clint, we have a mission." He looked at her, "So a mission is more important than our marriage." She looked at him, "What are you talking about?", he looked at her, "You tell me." She farrowed her eyebrows, "You're seriously thinking that?", hurt and betrayal entered her eyes, "Oh my god. I can't believe you think that." She shoved against his arm, "What else am I suppose to think? You're always with him." She scoffed and turned, "You're always with Nat but I never question you or lose trust in both of you. You're talking about Steve freaking Rogers right now and me!", she shook her head and tears filled her eyes, "I can't believe you would think-", she sobbed and Clint stepped toward her but she stepped back, "Don't." He sighed, "Ash, I didn't-", she scoffed, "No, it's Ashlyn now. Remember.", she walked passed him and opened the door, slamming it behind her and leaning against it. She shook her head and wiped her eyes before standing straight and walking away. Clint opened the door and hurried after her, "Ash!", she spun, "Don't! Not right now. God, you're so ignorant!" She placed a hand on her forehead, "You seriously think I was having an affair? With Steve Rogers? Oh my god. I just, you have no faith in me or my love for you." She scoffed, "God, maybe you did something and now you're trying to find if I did to make yourself feel better." He clinched his jaw, "So then what are you hiding from me?", she took a deep breath, "I'm not hiding anything." He scoffed, "Why are you lying to me?", she finally snapped, "I'm pregnant damn it! I'm pregnant with your child and I didn't know how to tell you because all you care about is work!", he froze and she let out a breath, "I have to go." She spun on her heel and hurried away, and Tony walked up behind Clint and shook his head. "You are a terrible husband." Clint glared, "Shut it." Tony shook his head, "I don't think I will, thinking your wife; who has only and ever loved you and has trusted you no matter what, was cheating on you with her best friend and her worker." Clint looked at him, "Fury offered Steve the job of being the only boss, he refused but said if he could be a step lower than Ashlyn he would consider it. Ashlyn is actually the boss over all of us, she just didn't tell anyone. The only reason anyone knew about her being pregnant is that they figured it out. Maria was the first one, then Bruce, then Nat, then Nick, and finally myself. Ultron knew because he went through our files and Bruce had a file just for her pregnancy, he told the twins. Vision is for life, he senses it. He sensed her being pregnant. She wanted to tell you but she was always working or you were always gone. You just upset a very unstable and scared pregnant woman, by accusing her of cheating." Clint clinched his jaw, "You got pretty upset when she accused you." He looked at Tony, "Because I would never ever cheat on her.", Tony nodded, "Yet you didn't trust her." Tony stepped away, "You better hope she can't hold a grudge against you, and you better hope she doesn't walk onto that Jet upset. It appears Wanda has taken a liking to your wife.", he walked away and Clint slammed his fist into the wall.
