CHAPTER 14

 Zayn’s POV

 “You what? For what sir? Daniel and Amber aren’t here anymore.”I told him.

“Yes I know.” He replied.

“Then why?”

“If you really love my daughter you would agree.I’m not doing this because I don’t like you or your relationship. It’s just I wanted her to finish her studies.” He said. I admit. What he says it’s true. I mean. I want Albee to finish her studies as well.

“I understand sir. What do you want me to do?”

“Oh.Just tell that what I really want is to for her to finish her study.”

“And?”

“And what?”

“What about our relationship? Are you against it?”

“I told you before. I don’t still agree with it. But if you prove to me that you’re different from that guy, I will be the one to tell everyone that you can be my future son-in-law.” He said laughing at the last sentence he just said. I looked at him. Is he the same person that look scary before? What happened?

“So it settled? You will tell Albee will be leaving tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow?But why too soon sir?

“It’s already August. And in the Philippines, school year starts in June.”

“Sir, can you just leave on Sunday?” I told him. Everything’s so fast. A moment ago that Daniel came, Then I became Albee’s boyfriend. And then that Amber attacked Albee. Now her father came and going to take her with him.

“Why?”

“So we can spend the rest two days with her. She has friends here. If she’s going to leave tomorrow, she won’t be able to talk to them.” I explained. He thinks for a second and.

Albee’s POV

Lahat kami ay naghihintay sa may kusina. Nang marinig namin ang pagbukas ng pinto ay agad kaming pumunta sa kwarto nina Zayn. Lumabas ang dad ko, kasunod si Zayn. Agad akong lumapit sa kanila. Pero bago pa ako makapagsalita ay inunahan na ako ng dad ko.

“We are leaving on Sunday.” Sabi niya.

“But dad…”

“I’ll be staying at this hotel. I’ll be picking you up on Sunday noon.” Pagkasabi niya nun ay lumabas na siya ng pad. Susundan ko sana siya pero pinigilan ako ni Zayn. Napatingin ako sa kanya at umiling lang siya.

“What did Uncle tell you?” Harry asked.

“I want to speak with Albee first.”sabi niya.

“Okay.” Sabi ng apat at bumalik na sila ng kusina. Inaya ako ni Zayn sa kwarto nila.

“It’s just between us.”sagot niya.

“Look Albee. Listen to your dad. Go back in the Philippines and finish your study.”sabi niya. Medyo nabigla ako.
