Pantyhose. And heels.
I have to wear pantyhose. And heels!
"Fuck no!" I yell. I hear four sets of giggles, two identical. Groaning I go back to my room, slip the-I don't even want to say they're name-old granny tights, before putting on the wide heels. Looking in the mirror, my eyes widened at how ridiculous I really looked. I looked...normal.
An to me, that's not normal!
"Hey Anne, some really hot girl is here-" Brandon stopped mid sentence when he saw me, smiling like a mother would on her daughters first day of school. "You look amazing."
"I look normal."
"And that's...bad?"
"Very." I grab my bag and sling it over my shoulder, before looking in the mirror again. "What we're you saying?"
"There's this really hot chick here for you."
"And that really hot chick, has a really hot boyfriend." A new voice says from behind him. I smile and shake my head at him when he puts his hands up in surrender, muttering a 'For now' before leaving. When He leaves, he steps close to Alice, muttering something before letting her slip into my room. I give her a look when she looks over my outfit, before she starts talking. "I mean, you brothers hot, but that's about it. He tried to do a pickup line, an it was a total fail."
"What one did he try on you?"
"He said, and I quote, 'Are you a Harry Potter fan, because I'd like to Slytherin.'"
"Oh dear god, why must he do this?" I ask my reflection in the mirror, getting nothing but a disappointed glare. Looking back down at my outfit, I groan. "I should just drop out."
"Why?!"
"Have you seen me? I look normal! And they even gave Kyle a note saying I couldn't wear my lip rings!" I whine, making her laugh. "I'm so happy my misery gives you such entertainer."
"You look great and, not that I'm assuming your a cold-hearted bitch, you just don't seem like the girl to follow rules."
"Kyle took the ones I liked, but I'm afraid I'll lose my really good ones," I say, getting my good ones from the drawer in front of me. They were hoops, with spikes poking out of them. They were my favorite, and I was afraid if I lost them, then Mom and Dad wouldn't bye me ones just like them.
"Those are wicked!" She says, taking one from my hand and examining it. "Just wear these ones, and if you lose one or something to it, I'll bye you the part missing or a new one. I am the one that influenced you to wear them."
"Yeah, cause you look like such a bad influence..." I trail off, making me chuckle when she lightly punches my arm. I decided to put them in, but not till we were in Alice's car since I'm not allowed to to wear them, and Kyle would have my head if I started breaking rules at another school. Bad enough he makes sure my grades are good and asks me if I have homework as if I was in grade school.
"What's it like?" Alice asked as she pulled into the schools parking lot.
"What's what like?"
"Having siblings."
"Tiring. Exhausting. But never...never boring."
"Man, I wish I had siblings. The girl I babysit for is like my little sister, but I don't think it's the same."
"Trust me, it isn't. Only my brothers aren't like you see in the movies or read in books."
"Whys that?" She asks, getting her stuff then getting out. I followed shortly after, then we started walking towards the school.
