Silence Screams

I sit completely alone,
And the Silence screams—
At me.

I claim my thoughts as my own,
And Silence, he screams—
At me.

Words left unspoken postpone,
And Silence, he'll scream—
At me.

His frustration, he has shown,
Dearest friend silence—
Screams "heed."

And I, at last, last made known,
Say "dear friend Silence—
Heed me."

In his place stood, stood wind blown,
And Silence, he screamed—
"Why me?"

But friend, he'd already known,
Silence's scream was—
For me.

His words now are like stone,
Silence screams "valiant
One heed."

Silence, shades of monochrome,
His screams echo hues—
To me.

Silence, an enemy drone,
Robotic movements—
Thus plead.

"Who is he?
That friend I'd once known—
Who is he?"

"Who is he?
The ghost I left 'lone–
Who is he?"

"No, I shan't—
Reside in shadow."
Said he.

"No, I shan't—
Be left to wallow."
Said he.

Friend, lost, and strengths to be hone,
Silence, he screams out—
"Heed me,"
And of all to shout—
"Don't trust me...
Trust my pain.
Trust my rage."
