A/n: okay, the last one was a bit shorter than I planned it to be. Sorry for the short chapter. ~Animelover
(Author's P.O.V.)
Stanley Pines walked up to the door that had a sign that said, "No Trespassing" on it. He was about to knock. "You haven't seen your brother in over ten years, it's okay, he's family, he won't bite." Stanley knocked twice before the door opened, revealing Stanford with a crossbow yelling, "Who is it?! Have you come to steal my eyes?!" The twin pointed the weapon at the other twin. "Well I can always count on you for a warm welcome." Stanley said sarcastically. "Stanford? Who's at the door?" Stella asked, coming up behind him. When she saw Stanley, she was confused. "Stella, this is my brother, Stanley. Stanley, this is my wife Stella." Stanford introduced. "Stanley, did anyone follow you, anyone at all?" Stanford whispered. "Well hello to you too." Stanley sarcastically greeted. He was yanked inside and was shined with a flashlight. "Hey, what is this?!" The brother pushed Ford away. "I'm sorry, I just had to make sure you weren't.." Ford looked at Stella who was playing with Tiffany. "Uhh..it's nothing. Come in, come in." Ford allowed his brother inside. Tiffany saw Stan walk by, and she was curious and since Stella went to go use the restroom, she followed them. "Daddy?" The four year old called. Ford and Stan turned to see the girl holding a teddy bear. "Is this your kid, Sixer?" Stan asked, kneeling down to her height. "Yes, now come along, Stanley. Don't touch my daughter." Ford warned. They both entered a room filled with Ford's experiments and equipments. "Look, are you gonna explain what's going on here? You're acting like mom after a tenth cup of coffee." Stanley said, looking around the room and following his brother. "Listen," Ford starts, searching at his desk. "There isn't much time, I've made huge mistakes and I don't know who I can trust anymore." He turned the head of a skeleton around. "Hey, easy there, let's talk this through, okay? Stanford, you have child here, so you have to pull yourself together." He told him. "I have something to show you, something you won't believe," "Look, I've been around the world, whatever it is I'll understand." The two brothers went down to the basement, not realizing Stella or Tiffany following them.
(Stanley's P.O.V.)
Stanford was taking me down somewhere in his basement. We went down an elevator and when we got to the third floor, there were machines and switches everywhere. I followed Stanford into a room. "There is nothing about this I understand." I said. "It's a transuniversal gateway, a punched hole through a weak spot in our dimension. I created it to unlock the mysteries of the universe, but I could just as easily be harnessed for terrible destruction. That's why I shut it down and hid my journals which explain how to operate it." He took out a journal with a six fingered hand on it. "There's only one journal left, and you are the only person I can trust to take it. I have something to ask of you, remember our plans to sail around the world on a boat?" I started to grin, knowing what he was going to say now. We were finally going to go and explore! "Take this book, get on a boat, and sail as far away as you can; to the edge of the Earth. Burry it where no one can find it!" He exclaimed. I frowned. I felt angry inside. "That's it?! You finally want to see me after ten years, and it's to tell me to get as far away from you as possible?!" I yell. "Stanley, you don't understand what I'm up against, what I've been through!" He brushed past me. "No, you don't understand what I've been through! I've been to prison in three different countries, I once had to hew my way out of a trunk of a car! You think you have problems? I have a mullet, Stanford!" I shout. "Meanwhile, where've you been? Living it up in your fancy house in the woods with your wife and kid, and selfishly hoarding your college money, because you only care about yourself." I pointed at him. "I'm selfish? I'm selfish, Stanley? How could you say that after costing me my dream school!? I'm giving you a chance to do the first worth while thing in your life and you won't even listen!" He claimed. "Well listen to this: you want me to get rid of this book? Fine, I'll get rid of it right now!" I pulled out a portable lighter out of my pocket, ready to burn his stupid journal. Stanford suddenly grabbed the journal, trying to pull it away from my grasp. "No! You don't understand!" "You said you wanted me to have it so I'll do what I want with it!" I put the flames closer to his journal. "My research!" He tackled me to the ground, the lighter and the book falling out of my hand. Ford was going to run and grab it but I tripped him and got it, running for the door. I then saw Stella with the kid behind her. "Wh-what's going on down here??" She asked, frightened. Before I could respond, I heard Ford ordering me to give it back. He pushed us inside the room with all the machines. We fought for the journal. Stella tried to stop us but he needed to pay for what he did to me years ago. I can hear the kid crying, but right now it doesn't matter. "You left me behind you jerk, it was supposed to be us forever; you ruined my life!" We were doing a tug of war on the journal. "You ruined your own life!" He kicked my chest. I felt something on my back burn. I scream in pain as I stayed there for a moment and collapsed. "Stanley! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! Are you alri-!" I punched him hard. He stumbled into the next room. I walked closer towards him. "Some brother and father you turned out to be. You care more about your dumb mysteries than your family? Well then you can have 'em!" I shoved the journal at him. The next thing I know is that he's drifting away! "Stanford!" I turned to see Stella. She ran towards Stanford. "Stella, no! It's too dangerous!" She ignored him and went for him. I saw the kid just watching. "Stanley, Stanley! Help us!" Ford cried. "Oh no, what do I do?!" I ask. He and his wife were getting sucked in by the portal thing. "Stanley, Stanley, do something!" He threw me the journal. Then, I was forced back. I sit up. "Stanford?" I see his glasses on the ground. "Stanford, come back! I-I didn't mean it!" I banged on the machine. "I just got him back, I can't lose him again!" I try to pull the lever he fell on earlier. It wouldn't budge. I lost him. "D-daddy..? M-m-mommy...?" I turned to see the kid cry. I run to her to check if she was okay. "H-hey, y-you'll b-be okay." I assured her softly. She looked at me with red and tear filled eyes. "Wh-where's m-mommy and d-daddy..?" She asked. "They..they're gone, kid." I admit. "N-no! They-they'll come b-back! They have to!!" She screamed and cried. It was sad to see her. She was in more pain than I was right now. I had to take her upstairs before she could hurt herself down here. I can't take care of her, but who would? Child services? That's probably the only choice I have, or I can take care of her myself?
A/n: This is the longest chapter I have probably ever written. Gosh, it took me some time to write this. Again, I don't own Gravity Falls! I only own Stella and Tiffany! Bye! ~Gravity_Faller
